I rated them a C on responsiveness and professionalism specifically for an issue related to finishing the chimney cap in April when the weather conditions allowed for the repair. We financed the project over a six month period. I had requested that they provide pictures of the finished work including the chimney cap. Other companies we have used in the past provide before and after pictures. However, we were told that because they had already completed the chimney cap repair, they would not return to take pictures. It wasn't until we withheld the final payment that they agreed to return and provide pictures; only to find out that the work had not been completed. They were apologetic about the error in the paperwork, but I can't help thinking if we had not withheld the final payment, we would have been unaware that the repair had not been completed. I believe I would hire them again, but would have to make sure to verify the completed work."

"Beware of shipping issues with this company. Ordered an ice maker installation kit on 10/10/25. Shipping was due no later than 10/20 according to company and FedEx tracking. FedEx tracking showed the package at their facility for 8 days without moving beginning on 10/15. Called FedEx 3 times. Each time they said they cannot find package and I have to contact shipper. Shipper has to make a claim, they will not mark it as lost. Called Appliance Parts Pros twice. Each time they say FedEx has to mark package lost before they will do anything. They also state they have to wait 14 days from them before doing anything because of their contract with FedEx. I don't care about their contract, I want what was ordered and paid for. Just going in circles with them and FedEX. If they shipped after 14 days it would be 22 days from that point, 32 days from the date of order if they shipped it that day. "We contacted Amazing Flame on the basis of their positive reviews to repair our nonfunctional gas fireplace, and are very disappointed with their service. They were unable to diagnose the issue as outlined in their agreement (seeming more concerned when they were here with finishing quickly and moving on to the next appointment than diagnosing the issue). More concerningly, the technician left the gas on the incorrect setting despite verbally confirming it to be off, so we are pursuing a different repair company."

"We have been with RA Dobson for over 20 years for one reason, their commitment to their clients. This past Sunday night our air conditioner stopped working, notified the 24hr service and by early Monday morning they had a technician out to my house. Sim, who had worked with us for many years ,identified the problem and explained to us in great detail what we needed to have done. He notified the parts department and the search began...a compressor was not available locally, but he did locate one in Richmond. Knowing how desperate we were facing the 4th of July weekend and 90 degree/humid weather and not wanting to depend on possible delivery delays he sent someone to Richmond to pick it up (4 1/2 hours on the road). He promised to call as soon as he had some news....my phone rang at 6:30 AM this morning with him telling me they would be out this morning to install. WOW. "From start to finish it went great. Ben came to see what we wanted and before he left he had the price for us. Way better than we expected. They started within a few days and the workers were all very professional and worked well together. It was a huge job and we were very happy with them from day one.
