  After an estimate and quality check, the contractor replaced our front porch railing and siding with all-seasonal plastic molding. The entire project took 2-3 days, and overall it looks great. My only concern was that there was almost a 4-6 week delay from when we approved the estimate to when the work was actually performed. All team members were professional and the work was done to our specifications think the price paid was a little on the high side, but overall we were pleased with this upgrade to our house front. Would recommend this group again for future exterior workshow more

  Lonestar is the best! We had a great experience from start to finish and our house is gorgeous! From a super speedy initial return phone call to Robert the courteous and knowledgeable salesman, to Greg the Vice President to Jang and the crew, everyone was professional and hardworking. They answered all our questions and were available in person, by phone and email. We never had to wait! From our initial appointment at the end of September, work started by mid-November and was completed within two weeks (including Thanksgiving right in the middle!). We had to be out of town for several of the work days and we felt comfortable and confident with the guys working and keeping an eye on things for us. Greg stayed in touch and sent us pictures of the progress while we were away which really reassured us. Towards the end of the project, we added some decorative trim to a big window. Greg was immediately able to give me an estimate and examples to pick from. It was ordered immediately, delivery took a little longer than expected, but once they had it, we had it and it really finished the look of the house. Greg did a final walk around and filled a bag with any small bits of yard debris he found leftover from the major cleanup the crew did. We are still finding nails (which we were warned about and expected), but once everything was finished besides the beautiful work, you could never tell there was a crew working! The porch was completed and the quality and craftsmanship is stunning. I love that our two year old can play on it and I'm no longer worried about splinters. The crew was also able to happily replace our doorbell and all exterior lights (even the security lights way up high!). I bought the lights and doorbell and they took care of the rest. Greg recommended getting LED for the security lights up high and it was a great call, hopefully it will be a long, long time before they need to be replaced. When it comes time for a new roof for us, Lonestar will be our only callshow more

  Going into this experience we were a little nervous considering we were looking for the whole enchilada, ie:, new windows, sliding doors, siding, porch posts and railings. We knew we were looking at an expensive investment and wanted to feel good about the company we hired for this job. After interviewing 7 companies, we selected Team Lonestar. The Team at Lonestar, from our initial meetings with Sales Consultant Robert Tabler, To VP Greg Paul and his Work team, were timely in their promises, professional in their demeanor and their communications with us, and engaging with their positive attitudes and sense of humor. We could not be more pleased with the final outcome and even our neighbors have commented on the beautiful new look of our home. Other than a little rain that delayed the project, the Team at Lonestar worked with us every step of the way to ensure they made up their project time with extra hours and completed their work with a smile on their face and ?have a great night? as they left for the evening.   We found Lonestar on Angie's List and we were not disappointed. Everything went exceptionally well. We had a lot of weather related delays (very rainy spring/summer this year) which was out of everyone's control, so we got off to a late start. Steve's team was amazing and Greg Paul was exceptional at keeping us in the loop the entire time. The professionalism of this company is one not often found these days. At the end of each day, they totally cleaned up everything, including sweeping the driveway behind the house. (I joked it was cleaner while they were here than it normally is!) You couldn't find a stray nail, piece of trash, or any equipment anywhere! After the windows were installed, they were completely cleaned off and the area around each window vacuumed. I came home from work to find all the windows installed with no clean up necessary. (I had heard horror stories about this process from friends that used other companies.) One of the windows (cherry wood laminate) had a small scratch on it. Steve said he would not install it and ordered a new one. My husband said he had to look hard to find the scratch and was pleased that Steve not only found it, but was proactive in getting it replaced. We had to wait a while on that window and the front door and even then, no money changed hands. Greg meant it when he said we did not pay until we were totally satisfied. The quality of work is excellent. We created a punch list for our "walk around". We had three minor items on our list. Greg had several pages on his! (Including a few handprints on the siding that he wanted them to come back and clean up!) We were very impressed with Greg's work ethic. As he said, it's their name on the sign and he wants it to be right. We had three separate estimates done for this job. One was much cheaper, but when I spoke to several people on their reference list I found a great deal of dissatisfaction. The other company was slightly higher. Robert Tabler did a great job explaining the products they would be using and answered all of my questions. He had samples with him and was able to work up the price while he was there. We did go top of the line on the windows and doors which added to the price as well. We have lived her for 24 years and the house needed a major facelift. We love the new look! I believe in the adage - you get what you pay for. We have learned that over the years the hard way. This is the kind of job where you want it to be the best it can be - Lonestar made that happen.   I had a great experience with Lonestar. The sales person came out in December, showed me the catalog, took measurements and offered prices. Between their reviews on Angie's List and their very reasonable pricing, I selected the company to install the door. Lonestar was a little backed up, between the holidays and probably the snow, but they came out and installed the door last week. It took about twice as long as they expected, but the installers were such perfectionists, the door is perfect. My house was built in 1950, so I feel certain it was a challenge! But I really had no idea how poorly fitted and drafty the old door was! The instant silence (I live right on Patterson Avenue) was amazing. I had a problem with my lock, which I purchased but Lonestar installed, and I emailed the VP of the company to tell him about the problem. He had contacted me a couple of days after the door was installed to see if I was happy with their service. So, when I let Greg know about the lock issue by email on Monday evening, he contacted me Tuesday morning and was out here Tuesday afternoon, and he fixed the issue! I couldn't be happier with the service I received from Lonestar, and I will be using them again when I replace the other doors in the houseshow more

  The contractor, Lonestar Siding & Windows, was located by me on my first use of Angie's List in May. My wife had wrecked her car pulling out of the garage, and damaged the aluminum trim around the garage door. Lonestar e-mailed me within 24 hours of my inquiry, and they were onsite to give me an estimate in short order. The estimate was so reasonable, and the company staff were so friendly and accomodating, that I approved the quote right away. Knowing this was such a small job, I expected the company would forget about me while completing their much larger jobs. I was definately wrong. They called me yesterday, 6/17/15 and said they would be out that afternoon to remove and install the new trim. When I got home, I couldn't believe my eyes. The new installation was incredible...professionally done and absolutely perfect in every way. I phoned the company receptionist right away and told her how pleased we were with their work. I also advised her I would recommend their company to all my friends and neighbors. All I can say is that this was the perfect contractor for the job, and if it weren't for Angie's List, I wouldn't have heard or known about Lonestar Siding & Windows.
