I dropped it off right before the holidays and she was up front in telling me it would be a couple months before she got to it. I was in no big rush, so that was fine.
I picked it up this past weekend after a call on Friday from Sarah saying the repair was complete. It looks amazing! Not only did she fix it to the point where we can't tell it was ever broken, she told us a little about it too!
She's very personable and her assistant is too! She is patient with those who have less knowledge about wood and furniture.
We ended up talking for a while about projects and furniture. Now I've made an appointment for her to consult on some woodwork restoration in my home.
I would HIGHLY recommend her to ANYONE. She will care about providing quality work at a fair price.
Sarah did a very good job for me. This furniture was over 50 years old, and now it looks practically new.
She was very easy to work with and flexible with my schedule. She came to the mini storage facility where I kept the furniture so I didn't have to take it to her shop. I would recommend her and would use her again.
She will pick up and deliver (for $45/hour). We have a pickup truck, so we brought our items to her. She developed estimates and sent them to us timely. We told her to go ahead with the slipper chair/stool. She is an artisan who recognizes why oldsters like us (late 70s) value these things. We understand that "restored" antiques have no market value. Took two months. The chair's frame had been damaged. and she restored it with dowels, plastic wood, and love. These pieces' upholstery was (were?) perfect, but the trim (hey, I'm not an antique fancier) was shot and needed replacement. So she found new trim and placed it and, after many phone calls from us, told us it was ready for pickup.. It's back in our parlor and we love it.
When picking the furniture up from the house and during return delivery her labor crew was always polite, and careful with the furniture being moved to lift it properly and to not bump other furniture or walls.
The process did take a bit longer than promised; in our case it was obvious that the longer time meant that the finished product was not being rushed but done correctly and well.
Overall, we are very pleased with the final products and look forward to using them for many more years to come.

I showed Sarah a picture of the table damage and she dropped over to my house to examine it and hopefully repair it. The color was difficult to match though so she removed the drop-leaf and brought it back to the workshop to get the color right. Again, an hour and a half was estimated for the work.
Both items were delivered to me today and I am very pleased with the work! The chair and table both look brand new.
Even though it took several weeks for the work to be completed the total time I was charged was one hour for each item. I couldn't be happier and I would highly recommend Sarah to anyone who needs woodworking repair.
