Scott was great very responsive and flexible to the changes we needed to make throughout the process. Reasonable cost. Was Punctual and finished the job efficiently. Felt comfortable with Scott in my home. We will definitely contact Montrose Contracting LLC. for future home projects.

Scott Montrose and his crew have painted (interior) several times for us and do a great job. Everything about them . . . and their work . . . reflects QUALITY. We wouldn't consider using any one else! (I omitted price intentionally: Every job is different).

I was really happy with Montrose Contracting LLC's quality of work and professionalism. They told me exactly when they would be here and the were exactly that. They were organized, they knew exactly what they were doing, and you could see the experience they have. The ceiling looks great. I had some questions so I had them come back to do a little extra stuff and they followed up. The were one of the few companies that walked in and identified the color of the paint and the type of paint it was. Montrose Contracting LLC were confident and I'm really impressed with what they did. The price was in the same ball park as their competitors and they gave me a discount because I'm an Angie's List member.

We've used this company several times to paint the interior and exterior of our house, and to do a number of minor repairs. We have always been very satisfied. The quality of the work is excellent and the price is reasonable.

Montrose Painting is a very professional crew. They were courteous, attentive, respectful and offered advice on paint selection that was very helpful. The crew arrived on time, worked steadily, and cleaned up carefully each day. They were with us for five days and we would not hesitate to have them return or to recommend them to others. They did a great job.

We've used Scott three times now, to paint our whole house (interior) when we moved into it 3 years ago, to paint our old house when we were ready to put in on the market, and most recently to paint our nursery and put up chair rail. I think its only fair to post that he's hands down the best painter I've ever used - its simply not worth my time and effort to paint myself anymore. He's professional, on-time, does an excellent job, and his prices are reasonable for the high quality work you are going to get. Because of this, he's pretty busy so you may need to plan a little ahead to get on his schedule.

Scott will guide you though the proper paint selection process (finish and type) and does a great job repairing any damage before the painting starts (nail holes, existing wallpaper, etc..). Our new nursery looks amazing (two tone w/ chair rail) and the edging is immaculate. When we sold our old house in the fan (keep in mind this was a 90-year old house), my real estate agent told me that they buyer didn't believe the house was previously occupied for several years since the paint job was so pristine (no cracks, clumped plaster, etc..)

After you use Montrose painting, you will never pick up a brush again (well, maybe a touch up roller to clean up after your kids or dog!)

Great Job

They are great, did good work and were very professional. We've had them out numerous times over the last 5 years to do different jobs.

We liked the man. He was prompt and punctual. His people showed up when they said they were going to. Customer service was outstanding. I was very satisfied with him. He was willing to go the extra mile to make sure that the job was done correctly. I would recommend everything about them.

I was delighted with them since they were wonderful. It was a complete gutting and redoing job. They started the work after Christmas. My husband had heart surgery and so the work was kind of held off. They were supposed to do one job after the other. They were great since they held off the work until they were able to have the workmen in the house. They completed the job in early summer. My husband had a surgery about a year ago in May and we were in the middle of the first construction about a year and a half ago. It did take longer and it wasn’t their fault. They waited till my husband recovered. It was a very big job. The first job was around $18000 and the second job was about $25000. The master bathroom is great since Scott Montrose went above and beyond in helping us. I loved Scott since he was very understanding and clean. They cleaned up after themselves at the end of the day. It can get very dirty and dusty when you are doing a major remodeling job. They were very good about cleaning up. He was not only sweet but he was trying to minimize the dust. The only problem we had was that he had sub contracted for installing a granite countertop in the first bathroom. I wasn’t very happy with the people we dealt with. I thought that they overcharged me and he had to take the granite out in order to redo it. It looks gorgeous now and he didn’t charge me extra for that. The frameless shower in the master bathroom is not exactly square. I am perfectly happy with it but it drove my husband crazy because he could see that it wasn’t exactly straight. However, they came back to make some adjustments but it was a sub contractor that Scott used. So he apologized for that and that was the only downside. Otherwise, everything went very smoothly and he really went out of his way to work with us. I did get several estimates and Scott wasn’t the cheapest, but I felt like I got good value for money. I was very happy with the work that he did. His responsiveness was excellent. I was so pleased with Scott that I told him if he wanted to bring customers to take a look at his work, then he was welcome to do that. I have a lovely bathroom now, which looked miserable before getting the work done. We bought the house two years ago and I knew that I couldn’t live without a bathroom. He was very helpful in working with me. If need be, then I would his services in the future too.

Scott was great to work with. He and his staff were professional and did a terrific job, and he priced his work competitively. He did find one area that he missed on the initial inspection and provided options and costs for the additional work. I recommend him to others and will use him again.

Scott and his company added an addition to the back of my house. It was completed ahead of schedule and his two workers, Trip and Devin were very professional, and polite. The completion of the project was beyond expectations. I would highly recommend them for anyone who is considering and addition or remodeling project in their home.

We were extremely satisfied with all aspects of this project. Scott was great to work with, as he was very accessible, reliable and helpful. His work was terrific- each night we came home to a tidy work in progress, and this project was finished right on schedule. He was very helpful in assisting us on selecting the new glass shower sliding door, stone surround, toilet and sink. He even helped us pick the perfect paint color for our new room. He suggested installing two shower heads- the cost for this was minimal and the result was more than worthwhile- now our bathroom is like a luxury hotel bathroom or a spa!

Scott and his staff were a pleasure to work with. His prompt responsiveness, remaining true to his word, high recommendations from others, his professionalism, and timeliness of completion are all reasons I chose Montrose Painting. The first 2-3 days were strictly devoted to removing the wallpaper throughout and rebuilding the bath walls. Before the end of the week, the first floor was completely painted. The second week was devoted to the upstairs rooms, which had not been painted in 12 years. Illness and family illness added a small delay on completion but only extended into the following week. Scott was flexible enough to add the 1/2 bath, replace a vanity top, install a shower rod, and do some additional woodwork painting that had not originally been agreed upon. We have contracted him to remodel our master bathroom. I hope to contract him for additional work in the future.

Montrose Painting did a great job of painting in our home. The painted rooms look wonderful. The workers did a super job. They were friendly and pleasant to deal with. The price was reasonable. I would recommend them to others.
