John provided an in-depth home inspection of my plumbing and educated me on the importance of venting my sinks to avoid moisture buildup, mold, corrosion, and bad odors. He also found that one of my toilets needed a new flapper valve/lift rod and corrected me on how I was using my garbage disposal, advising me to only use it for light particles stuck to my plate. "Lux foundation repair did a wonderful job at my home. I have 4 pipes coming into my home that had deteriorating seals around the pipe. The seals had deteriorated to the point that I had a large plastic box under the pipes so that after every rain I would collect the water that otherwise would have destroyed our finished basement. After small storms, I would collect a couple gallons, after very large storms, I would collect over 8 gallons of water in the box. I spoke to one contractor who suggested excavating the outside of the home. No small task since the pipes enter about 6’ below grade and it would have involved removing several established plants. I was surprised with the estimator from Lux informed me that they could solve the problem from inside the home. I was surprised that the estimator was very confident that he could not only fix the problem, but guarantee that it would fix the problem. The work team arrived on time, quickly did their work and left. When the next storm arrived, I checked the box….no water at all. Was it painless? Yes. Was it worth the money? Yes."

He proposed a solution for my yard and explained the steps necessary. I thought i was going to need an expensive retaining wall but Chad suggested a lower cost alternative for me using rip rap that i didn't even know was possible. The proposed price was exactly what i was looking for so the work was scheduled for the following week. Chad and his helper showed up on time and performed the work in 95 degree plus weather (kudos to them, too hot for me!). The work was done on time, 2 days as proposed despite the insane heat, with no surprises or issues. I wasn't sure how good the rip rap wall would look but i was pleasantly surprised with the final product. The work done looks great and my yard looks enormous now! I highly recommend this company, they are going on my speed dial as the first and only call for future landscaping projects.
