They had to come back in July because water was seeping into the basement from another area. They scheduled the additional work quickly. Conan and Charles added the additional gutter to the existing gutter and did not have to put in another pump with outside drain. The work invoice was adjusted to a lower cost, and we are satisfied . They arrived timely, dug to the foundation sill across the entire front of the house to discover the extent of the damage (limited to cinder blocks at the two front corners of the house). Bad blocks were replaced, any wholes or cracks sealed. Some tuckpointing was added. The entire stack of cinder foundation blocks was then covered with a water-proof substance, then plastic. The dirt which had been removed was then replaced. This crew was quick, thorough, efficient. Project started on a Monday, and was done in less than two work days."

"Bill Martins Flood Crew is excellent. In December, just before Christmas, my finished rec room flooded when my sump pump failed--soaked carpet, cardboard boxes, books, furniture with sewer water. I thought I would not find anybody this time of year to help me. But I called Bill Martins from Flood Crew, and he came out right away. He looked at the basement and gave me an analysis of my damage on the spot. He was wonderful. He took care of getting detailed estimates to my insurance company and then made arrangements for me with all the needed specialists. First, I wouldn't have known where to start, and second I wouldn't have had a clue whom to call. I needed crews to remove the carpet, cut out drywall all around to dry it out, check for mold, test for asbestos, and then remove everything. And, of course, fixing the sump pump, installing flooring, putting everything back, and lots of details in between. All of this obviously can't be completed in a week or even a month. My work was not the only project that busy contractors had. My situation was far more complicated than I thought it would be. Ultimately, it took four months, which I thought was very reasonable. "Barry conducted the scan, taking a good deal of time with us.  He explained what he was seeing on his camera as we accompanied him on the scan, and took care to pay special attention to spots we were concerned about.  Barry has a lot of experience across several areas and was able to offer good advice on issues he saw.  I will implement quite a few of his suggestions, especially regarding exterior water management.  He also pointed out improvements that I could likely handle myself in order to save some money, which I appreciate.
The scan confirmed some things we knew about and identified some we did not.  Since we are planning to put in a decent amount of money and work into our house, we feel that this service is well worth the money to be as informed as possible prior to committing the money and effort.
