This guy is a scam! Took his service call money with no intention of a repair or quote for repair!

I will be calling on my next service need.

They had very little customer service. They weren't responsive to phone calls or texts. When the part finally came in and they installed it. They didn't all to check if the repair was successful which it wasn't my ice machine is still not fully functional. In good conscience I can NOT recommend them.

Initially, Claeys Refrigeration presentation was pretty well but the communication, followed through was unexisted there was a lack of communication

This company is a total rip-off. BE CAREFUL. When Claeys called me, I told them the problem with my washer, texted a picture of the model and serial number, and further told them I would be happy to drive to Frederick, Maryland for the part (which I could get within hours). He told me he could get it faster and indicated, "Do not worry, I will not keep you waiting." He charged me $150 for a 15-minute visit ($10 per minute). I have worked in healthcare my entire life, and I do not even think neurosurgeons make that kind of money. The man and his company are a total rip-off. BE CAREFUL

After two appointments they rescheduled, they showed up, spent a minute spinning the dryer drum to diagnose the need for a new belt, and went away. That cost $150 ($50 for the visit, $100 for the first hour of labor). Two days later they called to say the new parts cost over $300. A 15-minute search on Amazon found the parts for just over $30. They refused to install the cheaper parts. We decided to buy a new machine for roughly the $575 estimate for this job. We felt scammed.

They were knowledgeable and diagnosed my problem correctly but they were slow to respond to my communications, canceled their installation once and it took nearly one month from their diagnosis to install my new part.

They were very knowledgeable - it was a father/daughter team and their skills were impressive. they are now my go-to repair outfit. I will definitely call them again if the need arises!

They came to diagnose the problem, asked for $150 and they have not followed up to fix the problem. I would not recommend them!

Called to have washing machine repaired. Tub would not spin. Gave me a time and date but showed up 1 1/2 days late. Tore top of machine apart said Motor was locked up. Problem was our wiring and he needed time to research problem. Charged me $150 left washer tore apart and departed. I called said still researching. Been a month no calls and they have not been back. Had to hire someone else to repair washer. By the way I, had my whole house rewired last year. This guy is a crook. Stay away from this company. If Home Advisor has any pull. Would love my mine back. Time he spent in my home 30 minutes.

Very courteous, and willing to talk with the client and explain everything. I would recommend them for any appliance needs!

Claeys came promptly to diagnose my refrigerator problem and said I needed a new evaporator fan motor and they could get it in 2 days. After 3 days I called to see when they could install it. They said in another two days. After waiting all day for them they did not show up. They said they would come back in another 2 days. They did not show up. In no case did they text or call me to say they were not coming. Finally, after two weeks from the initial diagnosis and 10 days after receiving the part, they installed the motor. The charge for the motor was $144.87. I later found the identical part on the Frigidaire website for $99 and other compatible motors on amazon for less than $30. Claeys is unreliable and unprofessional and overcharges for their service and parts. Do not deal with them.

Be careful of your ears, the owner will â talk them offâ . But nice people doing good work.

He’s ordering parts and will let me know. I honestly believe that he will take care of the problem.

Took five months for a simple freezer repair. Impossible to get in touch with, rarely showed up when he promised to, and never installed the final part as promised. He is a scam artist pretending to be a professional repairman.

They came to the house and could not figure out what was wrong. They charged me $150 and said they needed to do some research and then they will come back to fix it. Mr. Claeys said that I still had an half hour left on the clock when he come back to fix it.I called 4 times. The first 2 times he said he is still researching the problem. The last 2 times he did not answer the phone. Itâ s been over 2 months. So I hired somebody else to fix it.

Even though they were unable to fix the dryer at the first visit, they said they would order the parts and let me know when they would be back.
