They cleaned up so good that, if it were not for the remaining stump, we would hardly know a tree had been there! The price was very good. I am very pleased with the results! Gordon trimmed tree limbs away from the roof, cut branches off of our magnolia tree that were damaged during the recent snow storm. Additionally, he a beautiful job pruning our Holly and other bushes at the front of the house. The icing on the cake was he was able to offer his services for half the price of two other competitors. If you can, seal the wound with latex to prevent fungus from getting inside.

The best time to cut down a tree is in winter or early spring, as the leaves have fallen and the tree is dormant —this is also why winter is the best time to trim trees. Frozen ground can secure the tree stump and neighboring trees and shrubs in place, reducing the risk of the tree changing direction. Because the leaves have fallen, there is also less risk of foliage from the tree being tangled up with that of another tree.
