"I sent my initial inquiry e-mail at 6:24AM, and Carlos wrote back at 6:52AM asking if he could come by that morning between 8 and 9AM. After having three other companies quote it, I selected Water Damage DMV based both on the cost of the estimate, his promptness and communication, and the clarity in answering questions I had. When Carlos arrived to do the work, he went right to it. He worked quickly and kept me informed about what he was finding and how it was going. When he was done with that, he put in humidifiers at first. The next day, he came with help to apply the mold-prevention treatment before adding fans to aid in drying. He checked in daily either in person or by text until it was time to remove them, at which point he came and did so. I was very happy to work with Carlos and Water Damage DMV. The alignment of window parts is very poor, the UV film inside the windows has bubbles, screws are sticking out of the inside frame, caulking is uneven. Scheduling service made every effort for me to never meet with the team, even when I said I don't feel safe if they come to my house without me. The President of the company, Gerry Rogers, is not responding to my emails after giving me a call and saying that they take every customer's satisfaction seriously. Seriously? It has been ten days since I sent him an email and still waiting for the response."

You can purchase bags of cellulose and loose-fill fiberglass blown-in insulation from the same local home improvement store where you rent your blower. If you want to use rock wool insulation, you may need to special order it.

If you have access to the foundation walls, adding spray foam insulation to your existing unfinished basement or crawl space is straightforward. Replacing existing insulation in your unfinished attic space is possible after removing the old insulation. However, spray foam insulating an existing wall after the drywall is in place isn’t possible unless you remove most of the drywall.
