"The quality of the work was great, but the customer service was awful. I had several issues just getting them to show up to do the work once I purchased a deal on here. At one point they told me my check wouldn't clear their bank (when it had cleared mine), and that they couldn't complete the work until that was resolved. "I couldn't be more pleased with the service that I received from the guys at Family Movers and I was pleased. I had previously planned to book this company for my move when I found out that there was possibility that I may have been moving due to job relocation however I was not sure of the dates. When I called and spoke with David Brown, I only had two weeks to move a 3br SFH with garage and a basement and yard full of toys! David last minute was able to accommodate me and get my house packed, loaded and into the truck. My children were more pleased than I was being so there was no toy left behind. Not to mention he was able to give the house a move out cleaning. Everyone was very understanding and patient with me as though I was not sure of which pieces I was selling and which pieces that I was keeping. While in the middle of my home move process I was having a yard sale. He was very helpful they all treated me as if I was Family he wrapped every piece of my furniture even things that was not that important he still wrapped and protected them. They did a excellent job packing the truck everything survived the ride to the new location over 300 miles safely undamaged. Mr. Brown made it so that my move was so smooth that the only thing I needed to do was go home and decorate. The guys unloaded the truck put every item in the rooms that I wanted them in unpack the kitchen and the living room boxes. Every step of the way I had help and wasn't as nervous as I have been or previous moves. I really appreciate the time and dedication that Mr. Brown and his crew gave me because that's rare to find someone who's not only doing this just to get a income but because they enjoy doing it and like helping other people I don't know what I would've done without Family Movers and preferably Mr. David Brown I wiould most definitely use them again and recommend them to anyone else that's in ever need of a packer, mover, driver or house cleaning service!"

"Wow - punctual, courteous, professional, honest, and couldn't have asked for more.  First of all, a quick comment:  Most of the "A" rated services would not accept my business because I have pellet stove inserts.  I assume this is simply because the stove has to be pulled out and disconnected.  Metropolitan Chimney Masonry Service Inc. accepted immediately, and was very prompt and professional throughout. 
   Our rep showed up exactly on time, and explained everything that was to be done.  He was very careful while moving items around to gain access to the pellet stove, and answered all of my questions thoroughly.  He was very pleasant to work with.
    Special note:  I was a bit worried, as I have never employed a chimney sweep before, and a neighbor said that she needed to have a lot of work done.  Since it's a bit like taking your car into the shop (your flux capacitor is shot), the average Joe doesn't really know what's really needed in the dark recesses of our chimneys.  I was both relieved and very impressed with his explanation that my chimney was in fact in "very good" shape, no special or significant repairs were needed, and it was not very dirty at all (pellets produce low ash, he explained).  The crown is a bit worn re the masonry, and he showed my a picture and explained what a new crown would do to prevent rain water from seeping into the bricks.  I never felt any pressure, and everything was explained thoroughly.
All in all, outstanding service from a company I trust, and I will definitely be a return customer.  Joe (the average Joe I mentioned earlier)!
