The roof, gutter and downspout replacement and the soffit and chimney mortar repairs were completed to my satisfaction by staff and contractors who comported themselves courteously and professionally. What impressed me about Kirby Kerns was their willingness to visit my home a second time to discuss options and alternatives and what should appear in the contract, necessary because of things I had learned from on-line research after the first visit, and a third time to resolve minor anomalies in the contract. I was surprised by a fourth visit a few days after the work had been completed, the purpose of which was to inspect what they had done. "Jesse was very responsive and performed a quick repair after a windstorm to prevent further damage while we were preparing for a full roof replacement. His proposal was very competitive and thorough. Jess kept us up to date on the schedule and when the team would be available to complete the work. They arrived around 7:30am, brought extra people and worked late to complete the full roof replacement in one day due to rain that was forecasted for overnight. This included ripping off all of the old shingles and tar paper, repairing some damaged sheathing, replacing all of the drip edge, tar paper, ice guard, and new architectual shingles. During the installation, the team accidentally dented one piece of the fascia and Jesse replaced it at no cost immediately. I would highly recommend Jesse and his team if you are considering a roof repair or full replacement. Very professional, responsive, and competitive on their pricing."

"P. J. McTavish & Co. from Burtonsville, MD was hired to replace and repair a very old damaged roof on my Rancher Home, which has a few additions in the rear. These additions have many peaks, valleys and an area of flat roof. "It went great. They texted to let us know that they had fallen behind and would be a little late which I really appreciated. Then, when they arrived, they inspected the chimney and stated that it didn't need to be cleaned and only charged us for the inspection. They also let us know that the brick on the chimney needed some repair and they'd be happy to come back and do the work for us. I will be calling them again to do those repairs. I highly recommend."
