"This is the third time that Reggie has been to our house. On our son’s birthday before the party, he completed a brand new back deck, which was absolutely fantastic. He then came back to replace our carpet in our bedroom with LVP floor, which looks great and also did a fantastic job. This time we haven’t back for a full master bathroom renovation, including new floor, new vanity, new toilet, new mirror, new light fixture, removing old handicap tub, and replacing it with a hand built tile shower with glass door. He was always on time professional made sure that at times where we worked from home he was quiet throughout the process. Our bathroom turned out absolutely amazing and he worked within our budget last night was our first night being able to take a shower and it was like we were staying in a luxury bathroom. If you cannot tell by now, we will continue to use him just by how he runs his business. He is very opened and honest he is very upfront. Gives positive suggestions"

"Finished kitchen tile project turned out great. I was concerned because of water damage from a leaky dishwasher but they pulled up wet vinyl and rescheduled the installation a few days until under subfloor dryed out. Everything turned out well."

"Jason and company installed a very instructed kitchen floor using 12" x 12" and 6" x 6" porcelain tiles layed on a diagonal windmill pattern. It would not have been such an accomplishment had it been an empty room, however kitchen cabinets and an island made the job that much harder. The result was a piece of art! When the grout dried unevenly in color, he stood by his work and fixed what was the result of a manufacturing issue, with no questions asked. He is very meticulous and detail-oriented, not to mention friendly and courteous. We have already recommended him to several friends and will continue to do so."

Ceramic Tile questions, answered by experts

The best trowel for penny tile is a 3/16-inch-by-5/32-inch V-notch trowel. Because of the small size of the penny tile, you want a trowel with small notches that can lay a thin layer of mortar on the surface you’re tiling. If the notches are too wide, you risk applying too thick of a layer of mortar, and it can squeeze out between the penny tiles.

Most professional shower tile installations take between six and eight hours, depending on the size and complexity. Most projects get completed in a single workday. DIY-ing the project takes around three to four days or roughly 16 hours. However, this will vary based on the skill level of the person completing the work.

Grout and caulk are commonly used together, especially in bathrooms. Grout goes between the tiles and keeps them sturdy and in place on the walls or floor. Caulk goes in corners or where two different materials meet (like where the bathtub meets the tile) to create a waterproof seal. However, they are not interchangeable—you shouldn't use caulk to adhere tile and shouldn’t use mortar if you need a waterproof seal.

Options include clay, concrete, and slate tiles. Each offers unique durability, aesthetics, and costs.

Whether you want to match your tile trim with grout comes down to your personal preferences. If you match the two, it can help your tiles to stand out while providing a clean, cohesive look. On the other hand, you might opt to match your tile trim with your tiles. The best option will depend largely on your tile design, as well as how it fits overall with the rest of your room.
