Jeff's guys did a great job! I did all the framing in the basement and then they came in a ran all the wiring for outlets, lights, switches, bath exhaust fan, and smoke detectors; ran all the water and drain lines for a bar and full bath; and also moved HVAC ducting to get it out of the way....

It turned out the damper was stuck in the closed position causing the smoke. He was able to quickly diagnose the issue and even returned on a weekend day to complete the job. The only issue is that with our first fire, the house again filled with smoke and I placed a call back to inquire what his thoughts were on the matter and he never returned my call. Ultimately, we decided it was downdrafts causing the smoke and we have been able to enjoy our fireplace since without incidents. Cost $100"
