"I have a large basement - ever since Hurricane Sandy I have had water leakage into the basement after a big rain - which continued to get worse. JES installed an internal drain system that is working great! The installation crew of Mizael, Cedrick, Dionte and Keenan did an excellent job of professionally installing the drain and cleaning up afterwards. They were very responsive to my questions and concerns. -- Wish I did this 5 years ago!"

"The owner came down to give us an estimate on what it would take to fix standing water issue in a house we were looking at purchasing. He performed a thorough inspection on what was causing the water to sit in the crawlspace and went over what would be required to keep the moisture and water from affecting the structural integrity of the house. While we did not end up purchasing the home, we greatly appreciated his willingness to come down and do an inspection and give us an estimate. They were recommended by my stepdad who had them do a crawlspace encapsulation on his house. He said they perform first class workmanship and were professional. The owner also came back after the work was finished to ensure that everything was done correctly. Would recommend to anyone needing any work done on their crawlspace."

"I'm pretty amazed at how quickly Alex and his crew were able to lift my entire house and install drainage on both sides of the house. The team was the definition of professional and knowledgeable. From the start, they were extremely considerate of my house, and put everything back the way they found it - almost like they weren't even there to begin with! Didn't even know this was possible! They didn't stop there though, they even filled a few small holes in the yard with some extra dirt and put grass back where it was messed up. All I can say is SUPER AWESOME job!!"

"Slow draining tub, a toilet that just won't flush, and some back flow when using the dishwasher left us thinking we just had a major clog.  To our surprise, it was a collapsed sewer line that needed to be replaced.  While there was a 1 week wait due to the time of year and the demands they were expecting, we were more than happy to wait the week.  Work went quickly and smoothly, and was far less intrusive than we anticipated.  Their staff even wore shoe coverings when coming into the house!  Only some minor clean up work was required once they left, which appeared to be an oversight when they cleaned up.  Everything else was back to normal after they left and no problems since."

"The experience was very good, we made a determination to institute a change order to remove all of our moisture barrier on the original proposal and increase the number of smart jacks to increase the coverage. This was the best decision we could have made as it doubled our coverage and Dylan our sales rep was in full agreement that was a better solution. I would highly recommend this company, ask them hard questions and challenge them and they will be very upfront and honest with you. Highly recommend"

"There was no blockage, but found out that the original install of the vent system hand too many bends and this caused the sensor to go off.  Had the original installer back and corrected the problem.

"Everything went great!  From the first phone call to their office, to scheduling to the actual work, the people at AmeriDry were impressive, organized and curious. On the day of the job, the crew was on time, provisional and super thorough. The pump required a drain through the wall of the house.  They did it in a way that was not obtrusiveness to the ascetics of the house at all. It was also much faster to finish the job than I anticipated. When they left, the area of the basement where they worked was clean and neat.  I got several quotes for doing this and I'm very happy with the results we got with AmeriDry. I highly recommend them."

Drain Pipe Installation questions, answered by experts

Clearing typically takes 1-2 hours, depending on the blockage size and location.

Vinegar is better for an AC drain line because it’s less corrosive and won’t damage the pipes. It’s also a safer and easier product to use. Bleach should not be used on your AC drain line because it can corrode your pipes and harm the evaporator coil in your air conditioner.

Professionals use augers, hydrojetting equipment, and cameras for precise clearing and inspection.

Simple blockages can be cleared using household plungers or manual snakes, provided no severe plumbing issues exist.

Yes, you can pour water down the toilet to help it flush. For each flush, you’ll need 1 to 2 gallons of water for newer toilets or 3 to 5 gallons of water for older toilets. Rather than dumping the entire bucket in all at once, pour the water in slowly for the best results. If you’re pouring water down the toilet to help it flush after a clog, only use 1 gallon of hot water.
