Customers say: True professional

"I hired Pro Twins Painting thru Angi's. Fabel contacted me for a bid and was very prompt with his appointment and submitting a bid. I hired him and he started the painting project the same week. We were very pleased with the job they did. There would be no hesitation with hiring them again."

"Overall, the final result was an excellent paint job that we are very happy with. Along the way, we had some difficulties. Painter 1 is a franchise that subcontracts with independent painters to do the work. Unfortunately, the painters contracted to do our job were less than adequate. Fortunately, Painter 1 stood by their guarantee and made sure the work was done right. They even went above and beyond. So while initially, we were not happy with the work, they were very professional, listened to our complaints and concerns, and took care of correcting the issue in a very timely manner."

"Paint project was completed as scheduled and at a reasonable price. The paint quality is outstanding, building surface prep was great, (no paint on the brick work or any other areas), and the paint application to surfaces was really well done. I would hire them again for another future project."

Small jobs welcome

"David did an excellent job! The painting crew were fast, professional, and thorough. We own a historic home and they did a fantastic job patching up all the cracks and holes in the stucco before painting. Thanks for a job well done!"

"We had the exterior of our business painted by Jack of That One Painting Co back in October of 2025. He was so helpful and friendly, answering all our questions and working with us to see our vision through. He did a thorough and extensive job in the prep work to ensure we were getting the best quality outcome. The finished work is phenomenal and was done in an extremely efficient manner. We are very happy with the end result! I would highly recommend That One Painting Company LLC to friends and family alike. We plan to have more work done in the future and we’ll definitely be contacting TOPC again!"

Interior Painting questions, answered by experts

While not all homes built before 1978 contain lead paint, enough do, so you’ll still want to test to be on the safe side. The federal government banned lead-based paint for homes in 1978, but your state may have banned lead before that time. Around 24% of homes built between 1960 and 1977 contained lead-based paint, while 87% of homes built before 1940 contained lead-based paint.

The list of what removes caulk residue includes rubbing alcohol. In some cases, rubbing alcohol can also help remove water-based caulk. However, old caulk or caulk that’s in layers from years of upkeep and projects might prove to be too much for simple rubbing alcohol and may require a caulk-removing solution from a home improvement store.

Lead removal is crucial in older homes to eliminate risks of lead poisoning, which can severely affect health, particularly in children, by impacting development and cognitive functions.

Yes, you can pressure wash epoxy floors, but you must take precautions to avoid damaging the surface. While most epoxy floors can be cleaned with a mop, you might choose to pressure wash if the floor is stained, has ground-in dirt, or is covered with mold or mildew. To do so safely, first soak any stains or dirty areas with a gentle cleanser. Use a lower pressure setting with a gentle nozzle, such as a green, white, or black tip, or a 45-degree angled tip. Keep the spray nozzle at least 18 inches away from the floor to protect the surface. Using a surface cleaner attachment or a rotary scrubber can also help prevent overspray. Be cautious if using a power washer that heats the water, as the combination of heat and pressure may be too powerful and could damage the epoxy coating.

Acetone—such as the type in nail polish remover—is a solvent that can remove paint from many surfaces, including wood. However, the acetone will also remove any finish on the wood and can stain the wood below.
