"Guillermo is a pro. He is easy to work with and very efficient. We have very high ceilings along with staircases and every thing looks beautiful. My only wish is that the paint dust, which literally covered every inch of our home, could have been cleaned much better. We were a bit rushed to get back into our home, so he may have been pressed for time. I would definitely recommend Friends Painting."

"Excellent customer service and superior quality materials. This was not the lowest bid, however, the quality of the finished product was well worth the minor uptick in price. I have already hired them for an additional painting project. Great company."

Interior Painting questions, answered by experts

The most common reason paint peels is because moisture gets trapped underneath it and disrupts its bond with the wall. Other causes for peeling paint include a poor original paint job, painting over a surface with dirt or other foreign material on it, or applying paint coats that are too thick.

Professionals handle heavy lifting, proper disposal, and recycling, reducing environmental impact.

DIY is possible with strippers or sanding, but professional services ensure efficiency and prevent surface damage.

The best and fastest way to remove paint from a deck often involves combining a chemical stripper with a pressure washer. Gel-based paint strippers are highly recommended because their thick consistency makes them less messy and easier to apply than liquid strippers. After applying the stripper to loosen the paint, you can use a pressure washer to efficiently wash away the residue. When using a pressure washer for this task, it's important to use a low pressure (under 1000 PSI) to avoid forcing too much moisture into the wood, which could lead to mildew or rot.

Most projects take 1-5 days, depending on the area size, paint adhesion, and removal technique chosen.
