"Did Chimney sweep. Job was fine, professional and cleaned up after job. Issue was the quote and the work done. Quoted on text $249 to $499. I assumed lower quote is for an easy job, the 499 for something out of the ordinary. My job was easy, they were in and out in 20 minutes. I was not there, but my wife was and did not know anything, just said yes to $399. What in gods name would they do for their $249 quote ? I think they took advantage of my wife. I would not of hired them for $400. better cheaper options. Beware"

✨ Hi everyone! ✨\n\nI’m Mariah Cawelti, a mom of amazing kids, a nursing student, and the owner of this small cleaning business based in Ogden, Utah.\n\nLife is definitely busy, but cleaning has always been something I genuinely enjoy. I’ve always been the type who loves organizing, deep cleaning, and turning messy spaces into something fresh, calm, and beautiful again. Honestly… it’s a little bit of an obsession 😅\n\nBetween school, mom life, and everything in between, I started this business because I wanted to do something I love while also helping others feel more at peace in their homes.\n\nI offer residential and Airbnb cleaning with a focus on detail, consistency, and making your space feel and smell brand new again.

"A.B. Richards did a great job in assessing our roof and letting us know what needed to be done, and was sure to let us know what was a nice to have and a need to have. We ended up needing a chimney cap, and sealing of our dummy chimneys and some other exhaust vents. Bartholomew found us a chimney cap that fit ours, even though it was not a standard size that was made anymore. His wife did a great job of thoroughly cleaning the chimney and was really helpful in showing us how to use our dampener. They even recommended a wood supplier before they left."

"My house is 90 years old, and after recenly buying it and remodeling it, I needed some input on my fireplaces.  These guys came out and gave a great and thorough inspection so I know where to go next.  Unfortunately I have to save up to make some more repairs, but if I had started to use the fire places as-is, I could have had a dangerous situation, OR a lot of black smoke in my house!

Chimney Inspection questions, answered by experts

The ridge is the horizontal line where two sloping roof sections meet at the top, forming the highest point of the roof. A hip, on the other hand, is the external angle formed where two roof sections meet and slope downward toward the walls, typically at a lower angle than the ridge. The ridge runs horizontally along the peak and the hip runs diagonally from the peak to the roof's edges.

Home inspectors may look briefly at your roof, but certified roof experts will be more thorough. Hiring a roof inspector can give you a better sense of any underlying concerns as well as longevity. That said, a roof inspector won’t look at the rest of your home. The inspection may or may not include the attic, where problems can be hidden if they aren’t already visible on the surface of your roof. It’s important to clarify exactly what you’re getting with your inspector so there are no surprises.

You should inspect your roof at least twice a year during the rainiest seasons: spring and fall. It’s also a good idea to get an inspection after getting hit with particularly heavy rain and windstorms, as these may damage your roof. If you are buying or selling a home, that might also be a good time to get the roof inspected.

Most chimney crowns cannot be seen from the street or yard. As a result, most homeowners are completely unaware that their damaged or deteriorating chimney crowns need repairs or replacements. Chimney inspections offered by contractors can verify any damage.

Most manufacturers’ warranties do not cover wind damage to roof shingles, but some companies include a wind warranty rider in their warranty offer. You can purchase this rider to protect yourself, your wallet, and your roof from any damage that might occur from wind. Be sure to read all the fine print and understand any limitations of the warranty.
