"Sven did a great job on a staircase remodel project as well as polishing concrete floors in my basement. I also called him for handyman service work on my sprinklers. He he was able to come up with creative solutions custom for my home. His prices were fair and he was easy to work with. I will certainly certainly call him again."

"We had a serious issue with rain runoff settling our soil at our foundation. Joe and his crew were incredible!!! He replied immediately and came out the same day to bid. His assessment was spot on, very affordable for all they had to do, and they remedied our issue quickly and even impressed our builder Rep, who said how to fix it. Joe went above and beyond to make it so we’ll never have issues again!!! I can’t recommend Joe enough and honestly, I very rarely do online reviews, but with Joe, I just had to. Yes, he is that good,,,,TRUST ME. ?"

"All things considered it went pretty well. We had just come off of multiple experiences (different companies) where the contractors did not fulfill their contracts and cost us a bunch of money with half finished jobs. Clic Homes was a breath of fresh air. They were easy to work with and felt that they gave us good attention. They offered to come to an arrangement (considering our previous experiences with other companies) where we felt comfortable not having too much money out of pocket before work was done. This was truly amazing. They were fairly prompt with their work. The work that was done was quality. I did not find that I needed to go back and ask for rework due to quality. Like all construction projects there was an issue or two that did not sit quite right with us, they were willing to work with us and fix the problem. Overall I would give them 4.5 stars."

"Jed was very quick and removed my big globe willow. He cleaned up all the dented and took the logs back behind my fence and put it with my other wood. I would hire Jed again and for sure will in the future."

Pole Barn Builders questions, answered by experts

Yes, barndominiums are energy-efficient as long as insulation professionals properly install quality insulation, windows, and doors. Utility bills for barndo living can be up to 50% lower than those for a traditional home.  Make your barndo more energy efficient by working with contractors and HVAC professionals to strategically place windows, doors, and heating/cooling systems.

Common pitfalls include underestimating the cost of site preparation, overlooking permit and utility fees, and not setting aside funds for unexpected changes. Change orders during construction can disrupt your budget. It’s best to plan a detailed budget, obtain multiple quotes, and include a 10% to 15% contingency fund for unexpected expenses.

There's no simple answer to which is less costly: wood or metal-framed homes. In most cases, metal building components cost more than wooden ones, while entire metal buildings cost less than wooden versions. However, regardless of the exterior framing or structure, each must meet similar building codes. This means that the costs are about the same, even considering that wood will require more maintenance than metal over time.

Your foundation contractor will first need to remove the topsoil and any vegetation within 4 feet of the area around the barn. They’ll need to ensure they have clear access to the site to begin excavation, after which they can begin construction.

Building a barndominium means converting a barn into a house. Barndominiums are becoming popular as spacious and stylish alternatives to typical housing structures. Old barns that become houses traditionally consist of wooden construction. However, newer structures, such as pole barns, often contain metal exteriors and roofs. Converting a metal outbuilding into a house presents an excellent opportunity to create a barndominium from metal.
