Blue River Construction

We're not strangers to home remodeling. We’ve done 3 other houses in our long period of home ownership and we’ve used multiple contractors. I feel very good about recommending Blue River and Jeff. Also, I don’t put on many feedback comments at all, so to comment on Blue River ought to say something by itself! First, they are doing a current project for us and its my 3rd time using Jeff. If he wasn’t great, I would have moved on to other builders. Second, the effort is always with great quality. Third, price is always an element. We've spent mostly, based on a ‘value’ approach. Getting the ‘best bang for the buck’ has always been important. We don't go for cheap but also don't need expensive. We’ve decided that Blue River is our team, and in any project, I would call them first. Super happy. The work is solid every time and I trust them being in my home. Last point, Jeff’s team is a small one. He doesn’t have any army of workers. So you have to build that in your expectations. Last comment?….. they clean up after themselves, each day. I would recommend them to anyone in the Utah County area. Good people. Great builders! John, Provo, 2024

It was a nightmare two weeks into the job. He would start and stop again and again. He tried to do most of the work by himself and with his son. Any thing his son did had to be fixed. Also Jeff does not have good subs for painting, Electrical and Cabinets. The painterb was the worst and I told him he need to get rid of him long before Jeff fired him. The Cabinet guys who also did the counter tops did not know what they are doing . I had to fire them and spend another $10,000 to get them fixed, they also put in a counter top too big for the area to fit in so the cabintes are pushed out of square. Jeff isn't licensed as electrical contractor so we have to get another one to come and finish the job. The carpet guy he got was a joke too. There are places the pad in missing and several place were not tacked down. We have many text from him saying the job would be done in April and it was not until Oct we could at least move back in but he never got the final inspection and will not return our calls. We did get ahold of the bonding company and are working with us . I hope this nightmare ends soon.

It was great working with Jeff and Blue River Construction. The work was on budget and flawlessly executed. Jeff treats the project like it is his own home. I can't wait for Jeff to come back do more work for us because I know it'll turn out great. I would recommend Jeff without question for any project!
