"Anton and his crew came out to our home at the end of January to clean our ducts and HVAC system and did a great job. Super professional, friendly, and had a quote that was way lower than other places we called. Will definitely call them again next year to service our system!"

"Excellent customer service. Garrick was prompt, personable and very knowledgeable. We had a complicated issue with our air-conditioner which he took a lot of time to resolve. ✨ Hi everyone! ✨\n\nI’m Mariah Cawelti, a mom of amazing kids, a nursing student, and the owner of this small cleaning business based in Ogden, Utah.\n\nLife is definitely busy, but cleaning has always been something I genuinely enjoy. I’ve always been the type who loves organizing, deep cleaning, and turning messy spaces into something fresh, calm, and beautiful again. Honestly… it’s a little bit of an obsession 😅\n\nBetween school, mom life, and everything in between, I started this business because I wanted to do something I love while also helping others feel more at peace in their homes.\n\nI offer residential and Airbnb cleaning with a focus on detail, consistency, and making your space feel and smell brand new again.

"Mr. Ferrell first connected his computer to my computer via internet and worked for quite a few hours trying to determine what exactly was wrong. The next day he continued working from his computer for several hours. He determined he would have to have my desktop tower to complete the repair. He and my son met in Huntsville to exchange the tower. He then cleaned up a lot of what was wrong and reloaded Windows 10. He deleted the D: drive which had way too much memory allotted to it. The tower was returned and I plugged it all back together and it is working better than it did when I first purchased it. I would use him again and I recommend him highly to anyone needing computer updating and/or repair. His work is warrantied and he is very personable, knowledgeable, and helpful."

Heating and Air Conditioning questions, answered by experts

Capacitors are the most frequent part of an HVAC system to experience failure. These components are crucial for starting the motors that power the fans and compressor, but over time, they may become worn or fail due to electrical surges or regular wear and tear. When capacitors malfunction, HVAC systems may experience decreased heating or cooling efficiency, or even total system failure. Replacement or maintenance of capacitors is a common requirement for the optimal functioning of HVAC systems.

Yes, but they don’t feel the same as an AC-cooled room. You’ll feel cool, moist air, opposite from an HVAC system that dries the air as it cools. Ventless units also have less tonnage than alternatives like ductless and central air, which means they aren’t as capable of quickly cooling large spaces or circulating cold air.

When your HVAC technician mentions recharging your home AC unit, they’re referring to the process of topping off the unit with refrigerant, so the levels are properly maintained and pressurized. Normally, a properly functioning AC unit doesn’t need additional refrigerant, but AC units can develop leaks or other problems that decrease the amount of refrigerant needed.

A one-stage air conditioner only has one setting, while a two-stage air conditioner has a high and low setting. A two-stage air conditioner costs between $500 and $2,500 more than a traditional air conditioner, but it has a longer lifespan and helps to increase energy efficiency. To make this decision, you should consider your energy needs and available budget.

Yes, it is possible. An electrical fire can break out if the compressor has inadequate ventilation. When it overheats but doesn't have a proper thermal cutout, this can cause the motor to short-circuit and catch fire. This risk is exacerbated if flammable materials, like dust and fallen leaves, are clogging the unit. The compressor overheating won't start a fire by itself, but poor maintenance and installation can increase the risk once it hits its breaking point and short-circuits.
