Did a great job removing the trees and cleanup but failed in poisoning the stumps, I have trees growing everywhere and the stump grinder in the contract has failed to show up for their part. No responses to my calls and email to come and finish their contract. Got their money and that's all that was important to them!"

How often and long you should water a tree depends on the species and if it is mature or newly planted. The amount of water is also based on the tree's size. A good rule of thumb is approximately 5 gallons per inch of the trunk's diameter.

Adjusting watering to the recommended suggestions for the tree type and weather conditions is vital. For instance, watering trees during a drought is necessary, and you may need to water more frequently than usual.

If it’s only a smaller branch that has died and you’re keeping an eye on the tree, it’s probably nothing to worry about. A serrated knife will work for cutting off small palm tree fronds, about 1 inch in diameter. For larger fronds, you will need pruning shears. You may also use a pruning saw, and if your palm tree is especially tall, an extended pole saw can help you reach the brown fronds around the trunk.
