"Scheduled a date for removal of trees and they show up 4 days early to do the job without any notification. Did a great job removing the trees and cleanup but failed in poisoning the stumps, I have trees growing everywhere and the stump grinder in the contract has failed to show up for their part. No responses to my calls and email to come and finish their contract. Got their money and that's all that was important to them!"

Pruning trees during the summer can be a bad idea because the new growth will take place during the hottest months of the year, which can stress your tree out. A serrated knife will work for cutting off small palm tree fronds, about 1 inch in diameter. For larger fronds, you will need pruning shears. You may also use a pruning saw, and if your palm tree is especially tall, an extended pole saw can help you reach the brown fronds around the trunk.
