Then we seal the floor with our own brand of commercial sealer and finish. It looks like Urethane, last's like urethane and it cleans like Urethane. But Unlike urethane there is no odor, and it dries in just one hour. So you can literally seal each floor with multiple coats in just a few hours. Silestone® is a low-maintenance countertop material, but certain things, like strong chemicals and solvents, can cause damage. Abrasive scrubs can cause scratches, and products that contain oil or powder can leave a residue. Quartz is an engineered stone offering a nonporous surface. Quartzite is a natural stone composed of sandstone, making it highly resistant to heat. Additionally, quartz is lower maintenance, while quartzite often requires sealing and more careful upkeep.

Avoid using abrasive cleansing powders on natural stone, as these products could damage the porous material. Using bleach is also a poor idea because of the porosity of the stone. Avoid using a scrub brush with metal bristles, as they could scratch the stone. If you know who manufactured your stone or who installed the fireplace, you may want to contact that entity for any advice on cleaning it safely.

The restoration or polishing process can take anywhere from a few hours to several days, depending on the size, condition of the stone, and accessibility.

A floor polisher won’t remove scratches from a wood floor, but the polish can fill in surface scratches and make them all but invisible. If you run your fingernail gently over the scratch and it doesn’t catch, chances are that the polish will hide it. If it does catch, you might want to have your floors fully refinished, and you might need to have a professional floor sander in for particularly deep scratches. When in doubt, call a professional floor polisher to determine if polish will fill in your scratches or if you need more in-depth services.
