"My name is Dr. Jemima Goodwin and my fiancee is Kelly Clason. We hired Nelson Acosta of Texcon Concrete from your website (972) 837-5102) . You had him as an approved vendor of which I have screenshots. He got the first check on April 28th to completely re-do the driveway. We are now $16,000 out of pocket. The driveway is still not done. He makes all quigmire of excuses under the sun. I have contacted BBB, FTC and the Attorney General's office. We have also reported this insanity to Bedford police. I will be involving Angi's list in all mentions and possible litigation. You literally still have him on your platform as of today, 08/28/2025 at 1pm. Why would you have a good on your website and crown him as " approved"? He has all sorts of horrible reviews all over the internet. He also asks for money upfront. We trusted Angi's list and this is what we got. I need a resolve to this issue. He texted my fiance today with more excuses. Claiming he can't find the people to pour the concrete, until September 9th. This is atrocious and completely out of pocket. At this point we just want our money back. We have not been able to take out our boat nor bikes, all summer as the driveway is all dug out- our garage is on the back side of the driveway. The See attached screenshots. One of his excuses is he took off for 10 days to go to Miami to put his mom in hospice. Then he apparently hurt his back was another excuse' then the rain' then he can't find contractors- always something. Thanks."

"Great. They addressed all our concerns about grading water away from the house. After multiple rains the grading has worked perfectly. Paid particular attention to creating clean and straight demarcation lines where asphalt met grass, essentially expanding width of the driveway 6 inches and created nice "flares" at the entrance to the driveway where the grass had been worn down. Before, the driveway looked like the hodge-podge of previous layers (two to three) of asphalt it was with very poor drainage. They dug up and carried away tons of old asphalt and graded. Now it looks neat and "buttoned up" as they would say. Friends of ours saw the completed job and had the guys come over to their home to get a quote to do their driveway."
