Not necessarily a bad thing but still off schedule. My son had just used the mower about 2 days before and was going to go over the yard again but the blades did not engage. The belt had come off. I assumed HD would do the repair at my home, but instead they pick it up and take it to a certified repair center. OK I guess. The driver said call in about a week if the mower was not back. They do NOT give a ticket stub when picking up mowers, only a business card. Not really OK but... It was almost 2 weeks when I called the 1st time. The woman I spoke with had no clue but she finally found my paperwork. She started naming off a bunch of things the mower \"needed\" like new belt, blades, fuel filter, etc (NONE of which are covered under warranty btw). I asked if she was sure she was looking at the right paperwork because my mower is practically brand new and shouldn't need any of those repairs, all it needed was the belt put back on. She said she would check and call me back. She never called! Couple days later I called back and she said that is what the tech found and that is what it needed. I again insisted that it did not need all of those things done to it as it had only been used a handfull of times since it was bought. Again she said she would call me back, but never did. I spoke with HD. I emailed Sartins and asked for detailed list of repairs and cost. NO REPLY! So cpl days later I called again and asked to speak to the owner. The woman said she got the email, but just hadn't had a chance to reply. I told her nevermind, just send my mower back to me. She then tells me that there is a $75 diagnostic fee! There was no mention of this before I asked for my mower to be returned. I spoke with the female owner and explained everything to her. She wasn't any help, and said I should speak to her husband. Later that day, he called. I explained the situation again. He said that they had called me and were just WAITING for me to authorize the work to be done. I heard the woman in the background LIE to the owner because she NEVER called me, I ALWAYS had to call them! He DEMANDED that I pay the $75+ diagnostic fee. I informed him that HD said that was covered, and that I had not asked for a diagnostic anyway, I only wanted the belt put back on. He got very flippant with me, said it was NOT covered and that I was NOT getting my mower back unless I paid the $80 and HUNG UP ON ME!! I again called HD and they again told me it WAS COVERED. HD contacted him and he called and left a message on my answering machine at 7:49 AM! I emailed him that I am home most always and any time would be fine to return the mower. After several days he emailed me back on 8/7/15 saying it would be Mon or Tues (8/10-11) and they would contact me for return. I have NOT heard from them since. I called and there was NO ANSWER. HD called and NO ANSWER. So Mon will be 5.. yes 5 (FIVE) weeks that they have had my mower!! But he mentioned in his msg that he went ahead and used the diagnostic fee that WAS covered to go ahead and replace the BURNED BELT and CHIPPED BLADES! FYI...they told HD that my mower has 14 hours on it. Update: 8/20/15 mower FINALLY returned. The deck is caked up with grass and mud! It left here CLEAN, I spent an hour washing it myself. If I had engaged the blades with all that muck piled up around the belt guess what would happen?"},"url":"https://www.angi.com/companylist/us/tx/campbell/sartin%27s-powerhouse-reviews-5466210.htm"},"position":8},{"@type":"ListItem","item":{"@type":"LocalBusiness","name":"East Texas Fence","address":{"@type":"PostalAddress","addressRegion":"TX","addressCountry":"US"},"review":{"@type":"Review","author":{"@type":"Person","name":"Jennifer M."},"reviewBody":"I called and spoke with Becky about an estimate and set it up for the next day or two. She did not show up for the appointment, so we called and she apologized and realized she had not written it down and ask to come the next day, we said fine-no problem. She did show up the next day and gave us a written estimate on September 24, 2014 (I have a written contract). We called the very next day and said yes we wanted to go ahead with the fence. Becky said fine and that she would check the calendar and call us back with the date to get the work done; this was important because we needed to move some brushes before they came out to put up the fence, which my husband discussed with Becky at the first meeting. After about a week, we called back to check-in and left a message. No call back. We called again about 4-5 days later and left another message. No call back. About another week later and we called for a 3rd time and a young man answered and said Becky was on the phone and would call us back in ten minutes. She Did Not Call Back. So a few days later, I tried and called and left a message asking her to call back. NO CALL BACK. So we wasted one month of our time with Becky and East Texas Fence. It is very disappointing to have such poor service. If they did not want to do the job, just say so, spend 2 minutes and give us a call so we can go else where. Not well, but mostly because she had too many jobs going and did not oversee her people well. Have friends who had good luck with her, and I liked her and really wanted to work with her, but I had lots of problems that they did not take responsibility for. Had to replace carpet because it was ruined day it was installed. She blamed carpet layer and said it was glue, he blamed her and said it was paint. I had to pay to pay to replace carpet. Her guys got grease on another carpet day it was laid. Repeatedly asked that her painters use drop cloths and prep the walls and they did not and got paint all over wood floors which she said she would clean up but I had to. I finally learned I had to be there all day every day and check every little thing and could not get them to fill holes or scrape off extra texture. They stained a floor and then someone walked across it and got boot prints all over it. She blamed floor guy's crew and they said they didn't do it. Had to cover it with carpet. I came in that night and the windows were open and it was raining in. Had to go over every day to be sure they locked doors and closed windows. They set off the burglar alarm four times. I asked them before they started to cover the fire sensors because alarm company said if they did not it would damage them and set off the alarm when they sanded or sprayed. They did not until they left (?) and set off the fire alarm four times (in addition to burglar alarm four times) in two months and the fire truck came because I was not there those times. I asked her to touch up a small area (2 ft X 2 ft) of my stained cabinets to see what it looked like and then I would decide whether to touch up stain or paint white. Came in and guys had done whole kitchen and another room and looked like they had flicked brown paint on it. She fixed it as best she could but you can't see wood grain anymore. I wanted blue paint against a stark white trim and she suggested dover white. When I said the sample card had yellow in it, (and I was having her paint yellow walls because I did not want yellow) she said it would go on whiter and pure white would be too white. The dover white is too yellow and I have since had outside painted the color white I wanted and that is what I wanted inside. Now I have a whole house full of a color I did not want. Her granite guy did a terrible job (and I had LOTS of granite installed) and I am trying to get her to get him back out here. Have had several granite people look at it and he did not polish edges properly and got metal cut lines following the sink lines. There is a big chunk out of the bottom of the overhang of the granite they installed in the wet bar and the edges of that and a 20 foot piece weren't sealed properly. While installing the wet bar and moving a water line they let water leak and it stained my ceiling but she re-painted it. They were supposed to stain my concrete sunroom floor but it appears to be just painted because it is chipping off. They touched it up once but it is still chipping and looks bad. They finished in late Dec or early Jan so it has chipped since then and I don't use the room for anything but plants yet. I had to delay my move date, and reschedule my movers, four times and every time I gave her an extension she took her guys out to another job. To be fair though I did add some things to the original list. I can't even remember everything but there was a lot I was unhappy with. I liked Jennifer and also really liked her young assistant, Alyssa and I would have rated worse except for two things. 1. Jennifer did try to fix some of the things that went wrong, like the cabinets. 2. I had a lot to complain about as we went along and she was not rude. We were able to talk about things and work them out for the most part. I said I would use her again, and she may not want to after this review, because the experiences I have had since have shown me she is not that bad. I will never live in another house that I even have to paint after the experiences I have had since buying this house in February. It started with a terrible inspection job, where they missed tens of thousands of dollars of stuff, and things have steadily gone downhill since then.
Having said all of that, now after using Chuck Colley and Darren Kirby for work on the outside, I think Jennifer did a better job than they have. They have caused me a lot of expense fixing damage their workers caused (about $2400.00 replacing pool tile that was broken off, cleaning concrete off pool coping, and it will never come off my brick) and am having to repaint my sunroom because concrete stained it, had to pay someone $1800.00 to re-grade my yard because concrete people brought bobcat in on saturated ground. Part of that was to lay grass but should not have needed grass except that they killed it because they left stuff all over it for 3 months. They charged me $100 to rent a machine to transplant my grass because I didn't need much but couldn't do it so they charged me an additional $760 for grass and it only covered about half of what they killed. Part of the $1800 was also to power wash my neighbors street where they let concrete run down the street three houses down and around the corner. I repeatedly asked that they clean it up but it was three months before it was done. They laid a patio that was shaped like a and quot;vand quot; and unusable as a patio. They were supposed to drain it the opposite way they drained it and the only reason we did all of the job as one job, instead of waiting until October to build a covered porch with a kitchen and an outdoor pavilion was to install larger drains and tie the downspouts into them. I wanted them to start Jan 2 and wanted them finished by April15 because I had to re do the pool, overlay concrete, etc and wanted to use my pool this summer. If they could not finish by April 15 I told them i wou;ldenlarge the pool area and wait until Oct to do the other construction. But when Mr Colley brought me a contract with $2000 more in his fee in middle Jan, than we agreed I asked why. I did not get a response and talked to someone else to do the job that was going to start Feb 17. Darren assured me they wanted the job and could be finished no later than April 15, 30th at the latest. It is June 23 and they are not finished. They really didn't even do anything but the concrete until after April 15. I talked to Mr. Colley in Jan and made it clear I wanted him running the job, not Darren. However, Mr. Colley let Darren run the job and backed him up when he did not do the patio as I asked and refused to fix it. They did not tie the downspouts into the drains, did not install larger drains, and my gutters have to make four 90 degree turns before they get to a downspout and I have water rushing down a valley and spurting onto the shingles and will ruin them shortly. They say this was the only way it could be done but other builders and concrete and drainage people disagree. Basically Mr Colley turned this job over to Darren Kirby, Darren Kirby did not pay attention and left everything to the subs and I got lousy work and not the job I paid for. I did not even have the head stone layer here when my stone was laid and it cracked immediately. I mean on all sides of the columns, all the way around, in less than a week. They did fix the ones in the pavilion after I sent a certified letter. but Mr. Colley says this is normal and happens on all of his jobs. The stone is not what I wanted either. They totally disregarded what I wanted and did what was easiest, again because Darren didn't pay attention. He comes up with stories to cover every situation, and when one doesn't work he comes up with another one. He doesn't return my calls and says he doesn't get my texts, although he did until I started complaining and everyone else does. Mr. Colley told me to and quot;be sure Darren gets my textsand quot;. How do I do that?

FAQs for brush chipping projects in Whitehouse, TX
Topsoil costs from $12 to $55 per cubic yard, depending on the type you choose. For example, screened black dirt will cost about $15 per cubic yard. Loam (soil composed of sand, silt, and clay) costs about $17 per cubic yard. Standard screened topsoil costs about $20 per cubic yard. The type of topsoil you need depends on your landscaping plans.
Landscapers typically charge $25 to $50 per person per hour, which equals around $50 to $100 per hour for a two-person crew. These rates can vary depending on your location, the size of staff needed for the job, and overall job type. For example, a larger crew will be needed for structural additions and hardscaping versus planting flowers.
When it comes to landscapers, licensing laws vary. Landscaping architects are required to be licensed in all 50 states, whereas traditional landscaping contractors are not typically required to hold a certification. You’ll likely be working with a landscaping contractor for most residential projects. If you are redesigning your whole yard or adding in hardscape features, you will work with a landscaping architect at some point during the project. Be sure to check our state licensing tool to review the local landscaper guidelines.
