Larry was thorough, friendly, helpful, and knowledgeable. He didn't think twice about letting me tag along for the inspection, and answered every question I had. He went above and beyond what is required for the home inspection, and did not rush the inspection at all. I would not have any second though about referring anybody to Larry, or using him again in the future. If you're going to spend money on an inspection, spend it with Larry, he may not be the cheapest inspection, but for the extra money spent, he's worth the peace of mind you get by using him.

Larry did a really great job. He is sharp, knowledgeable , detail oriented, and very passionate about his work. Glad we had him as our inspector. I really wish my builder paid even 50% of attention to detail while building the house as Larry did during his inspection.

Larry saved us thousands of dollars as a result of his inspection of a home construction project. The builder refunded our money after reading Larry's report. We can't recommend Larry highly enough (AAA+) and would never consider embarking on an other project without first consulting him and having him inspect it during the construction phase. Whatever home improvement or construction project you have, if it involves a contractor and money, call Larry.

We recently had the old weathered wood siding on our house replaced by spiffy new insulated vinyl siding. Since our house is 2-story, and most of the siding was being installed at a very high level, we were not able to personally inspect the work ourselves. Therefore, we hired Larry to inspect the siding that was being installed. He responded immediately to our request for assistance on Angie's List, came to our house the very next day, inspected the work being performed, spoke with us about his findings, and then sent us a well written report, with photos. We are very satisified with his work, his price was reasonable, and we would recommend him to others.

I am buying a new house and had a different inspector take a look at the house. This earlier inspector worked for all of 1.5 hours; he said this is a very boring house and it is too new (2018) to merit an inspection. I paid this earlier inspector about $500 for the report and $40 for the privilege of downloading the report from his website. Then, I decided to hire Larry based on his AngiesList recommendations. It is certainly one of the better decisions that I have made in life! Larry is very knowledgeable and thorough in his approach. He spent 4 hours going over everything in the house and wrote a much more detailed report that found deficiencies in this 2018 house. He communicate very effectively and educates you about your new house. If this has not impressed you so far, how about the fact that he brings infrared camera with him and looks for water and air leaks through that camera? How about the fact that he looks for radiation leakage around a microwave? I could go on but I think you get my point. Larry gave me clear candid opinions and he was a pleasure to work with. Please hire him as your first home inspector and make at least one good decision today.

Larry was very professional, he was very knowledgeable and performed a thorough inspection of the home. If there was anything we were unfamiliar with he took the time to explain it to us. We really enjoyed that he also took time to point out what types of trees and plants were present on the property and gave pointers on maintaining and improving the landscape. Larry arrived early and was very pleasant and knowledgeable. He inspected the whole house, which took approximately 4 hours. He was patient with my questions and gave me direction in further testing for our HVAC system. Larry knows the codes and wrote a thorough report. We had Larry inspect our home, because our 2 yr. new home warranty is about to expire. He is not only knowledgeable when it comes to one's home and the building process, he gave my husband numerous tips on composting, gardening and tree maintenance. His prices are based on the square footage of the home and he does offer a few discount options If we are ever in need of an inspection again, Larry will be the one we call.

If you really want to know the good the bad and the ugly from an unbiased source, Larry is your guy. He was patient, took plenty of time to provide the details, and lots of other interesting color commentary you wouldn't receive from most professionals who are rushing through the job to get to another. The report he gave us was very thorough and will be an invaluable resource for us moving forward.

Larry is the consummate professional of Inspectors, he has vast experience and knowledge and is highly competent in his field. Larry takes great care to explain not only the 'what' but the 'why' of items he calls out in his inspections and also peppers in additional info about trees and shrubs during the exterior inspection (good things to know). Larry is meticulous in his inspection and uses the latest technologies (infrared imaging, drones for aerial view of roof) to look at all facts of a house. Larry is very friendly and a person of character.

Larry has inspected several homes for me prior to move in. He is the best there is as far as I'm concerned. Instead of a 1-3 page report, for several hundred dollars, he gives me not less than 40 pages complete with pictures. It is very detailed. He also gives suggestions on what is most important to repair right away and what can wait. Because I have just moved for the last time, I won't be using him again (except for advice), but I highly recommend him. You will not find anyone better.

Larry's service was absolutely top-notch. Due to delays by the builder, we had to reschedule the inspection several times; Larry was more than accommodating and flexible. During the inspection, he gave me numerous suggestions on how to make improvements in our new home; he also provided a very detailed report with code text extracts showing the deficiencies that needed correction by our builder. Larry certainly deserves the numerous A ratings by Angie's List customers!

Saved us thousands--maybe our lives. My price below includes pre-drywall, final, followup (2) inspections and two moisture readings. We must have 75 pages in reports, codes, and photos from him. Not only did his inspection reveal more than two dozen things our builder did wrong, not cosmetic, but city code and manufacturer specs, but he found big things, like a huge ceiling support brace that was vulnerable to collapse--too short so the builder jimmy rigged it. At worse, the ceiling would have collapsed, my daughter (if she would have been home) would have fallen into the kitchen, and landed either in the kitchen sink or on a family member doing dishes. He found electrical code violations, and ones that he confronted the builder on after the builder, Shelly Home Company, said they had repaired but had not. And when confronted, the project manager said he was unfamiliar with that code and so did not make the repair (God forbid he look up the code). Then this project manager, Archie, told us he never said that but Larry confirmed he had. Larry found so many things. Even after we fired our builder and had water damage in the walls, Larry came on the spot (made time the day I called) to use his infrared tool to measure moisture in the walls after two days of rain (so those could be compared to dry wall measurements). The guy is just solid. Professional, knowledgeable, and less expensive (20-25% for initial and followup inspections) as another good, AngiesList highly rated inspector. So, you can't go wrong with Larry. I'll always remember this guy and what an advocate and ally he was for us when we were completely overwhelmed and in the process of getting really treated wrong during our new home construction project.
