People don’t realize plumbers have a code to follow and cannot step into a job they aren’t allowed to do, so the negative ratings are uncalled for. I have always trusted this hard working man/owner/business manager, who has maybe two helpers at the most, to work on any issue we have. And I will wait for him to get to us because he’s the only one I trust to find and fix the problem. Gas Logs questions, answered by experts

In most cases, a gas stove should be installed by a licensed plumber. Connecting gas appliances carries many risks, chief among them a fatal gas leak. If your home is already set up with the proper gas hookups, you may be able to DIY the installation (or save money by hiring a local handyperson or basic appliance installer near you rather than a plumber). While the line can't be removed, a pro can place a cap on the end to stop leaks. Contact a pro for a service call and speak with them about the related costs of either capping or removing the line altogether. Capping a gas line will cost between $75 and $150 while removing it will start at $250.

Costs depend on furnace size, ductwork modifications, labor, and efficiency ratings of the chosen system.

While you can install a gas dryer yourself, we recommend hiring a pro to help with any work involving gas (safety first!). Keep in mind that your gas dryer will have to meet specific codes and standards. While it will cost more money to work with a professional, it will be money well spent knowing that it’s hooked up correctly.
