"I can't say enough about how beautiful my kitchen looks. Ebby made a suggestion which gave me more countertop space. It gave my kitchen a more updated look than I had ever dreamed. I sent pictures to family and friends right away. He tore out the old countertop down to the base MDF that the builder had used. He custom cut 3/4" plywood onsite. I could see the sturdiness of the counters before he had applied the laminate. The seams were not visible unless you were closely examining the counter. The edges of the counters were just as beautiful as was the backsplash. His work was impeccable. Regarding customer service, he kept me notified on when the materials would be in as I had a personal schedule he had to work around. His professionalism was outstanding. In the end, he was hooking up the pipes to my new sink. I didn't get new pipes purchased, so one of the old ones cracked as it was being tightened. At 7:00 at night he was insistent that he go from my house in the country to the nearest town to find that part so I was not left with a problem. Luckily, my neighbor down the road is a plumber and I got him to come over with the part. I don't think Ebby was going to leave me with a problem that night. Service people don't do that these days. He wasn't leaving till his job was done well. In the end, he made sure that he and his helper left the area clean of any mess. You won't regret hiring him for your job. The quality of work blew my mind. I just never expected the extra mile he goes to make the project everything you expect and more."

Engineered stone is nonporous, unlike natural stone, and does not need to be sealed. You do not have to worry about etching or bacterial growth. Granite countertops must be sealed every 12 to 18 months, though some sealants can last for five to 10 years. You can check whether your granite countertops need sealing by applying a drop of water in an inconspicuous area and waiting 15 minutes to see if the water darkens the countertop. If it does, the countertop needs sealing; if not, you can hold off on resealing for now.
