"When I called they were working in Hitchcock, Tx and Chris, the owner, came by that afternoon and gave me a bid. My wife and I liked him immediately and accepted his offer. "WA Air Conditioning came out several weeks earlier initially to service my A/C system which was freezing up.  It was found to be low on freon which they took care of and then it started happening again about six weeks later.  They came out again, it was low AGAIN, along with a bad relay which they took care of.  At that point, I decided to get a bid to replace the entire system.  Craig, the owner, came out at a time that fit my schedule and we discussed my needs.  I decided to have a full system w/heat pump installed, including duct work, registers, etc.  They carry Bryant/Carrier products which are one of the top rated in the industry with the best warranty around.  Not only did they do the complete removal/installation in only 8 hours but he also gave me credit for the previous service call towards the new system!  No problems, no mess, no hassles, and with the new system I now am keeping my thermostat setting 3-4 degrees higher than the old system.  Thanks to Craig and his install crew.  Best I have ever used!"

"Well, the first time the replacement was ordered it was the wrong one, which of course, delayed the installation a week. When it was finally installed I had to pay an additional $850 for code upgrades. This I was not informed of by Home Shield. Then we noticed that there was water on the garage floor and found that the pipe coming in from the wall was leaking at the wall so had to call the plumbing company back out to fix it. They first tried to say it was not their fault but since there wasn't a leak before they installed they did fix it. I have used Home Shield a few times before and never had a problem. Some of the companies they use are not the best so you have to research them before you commit. I have found HS service to be good if you do your homework. At the end of the day I was without hot water for almost 3 weeks but it was do to the plumbing company they sent out."
