"Robert initially came out and measured and gave the cost for the job.  A couple of weeks later they came out again to measure for the exact measurements for making the windows.  Robert said that it would be about 4 to 6 weeks to get them made.  He then called a week before they were going to be ready and scheduled installation for the next Thursday.  They showed up promptly at about 8:30 and had the job complete by mid-afternoon.  Overall, I'm happy with the job that Associated Home Design did.

"We are so pleased.
Cedrick came in to our house, reviewed our floor plan and what we wanted and created the perfect sound set-up.  He also set up our outdoor speakers so we can entertain outside.
We are so happy with the turnout.  We would definitely reccomend Cedrick to others.

Interior Design and Decorating questions, answered by experts

Costs range from $50 to $200 per hour or $2,000 to $10,000 per project, depending on scope and experience.

Whether hiring an interior designer is worth the cost depends on your budget, the scope of the project, and your own design and project management skills. For larger projects or those beyond your DIY skills, an interior designer is often a worthwhile investment. The benefits include realizing the best layout, functionality, and decor for your lifestyle and taste; managing the project to keep it on track and within budget; serving as a point of contact for contractors; accessing discounts from suppliers; and assisting with home staging for a sale.

Hiring someone to decorate your Christmas tree costs about $400 on average, ranging from $200 to $1,500 or more, depending on the type of decorating service, size of the tree, location, and materials used to decorate the tree. Price ranges vary by service type:

  • Handyperson: $60–$125 per hour

  • Professional light installer: $300 per hour

  • Interior decorator: $50–$200 per hour

  • Christmas tree designer: $600–$1,500 per tree

A chandelier can last 10 to 50 years or more, depending on its quality, usage, and maintenance. High-quality chandeliers made of durable materials like crystal, brass, or wrought iron tend to have longer life spans. Regular cleaning, timely light bulb replacement, and proper care can extend its life significantly. Vintage or antique chandeliers can sometimes last for generations with proper restoration and upkeep.

If your chandelier is flickering, it may just need new bulbs or wiring, so consider repairs before replacing it.

Improper hanging can damage the artwork, misalign it, and decrease its visual appeal, potentially compromising its structural integrity.
