John is a life saver. I looked everywhere for someone who would do a warranty repair on my 20KW Kohler standby generator. I tried almost every company listed on Kohler's website. Most didn’t service residential units and/or didn’t work on larger units at all. I got the sense that some didn’t want to service units they hadn't installed. I booked a larger repair service on the north side of Houston and called them after three weeks to get an update, but they told me they would no longer be able to come to my area and service my unit. I finally found Mr. Sparky of Clear Lake. John came out quickly and serviced my unit. It took quite a bit of back and forth with Kohler to get the parts, (Kohler issues) but he was able to get us up and running.

Real well; the technician checked the entire attic removing unnecessary wire and checked all connecting boxes.

Jake and Blake came out to install our EV charger and when I asked how long the job could take, Jake said about 3-4 hours on average but wouldn’t you know, Jake and Blake were finished in about 2.5 hours. During the install, Jake pointed out something in our circuit breaker box that didn’t necessarily need attention but he took care of the potential issue for us, which we appreciated because he explained it could potentially be a safety concern. Overall the job was clean and there were no holes or conduit that needed to be done as other companies and contractors I contacted said that there could be a decent size hole that needed to be patched and painted or that conduit may need to be installed. Jake assured me that the hole he would make would be about an inch wide and no conduit would be needed. 10 out of 10 would recommend Mister Sparky and if you can, ask for Jake and Blake. Also, shoutout to Rita for being so communicative when setting up the initial inspection and the appointment.

The guys were great and very knowledgeable. I do think it is important to inform the client of the prices before commencing the work. It was a surprise to get hit with an almost $400 bill after the work was done especially if the initial problem was resolved before they arrived. They ended up changing out some outlets which I agreed needed to be done, however, it didn't resolve the issue like they stated at first and had to come back and the issue ended up being a gfi outlet. I agree with the work, but it would have been nice to discuss it beforehand and not be surprised with a massive bill at the end.
