Customers say: Quick response

"The quality of the build was excellent. The builder was always available to answer questions and proved any information needed. All materials used were high quality and specific to the plans of the home. Attention to details was excellent and oversight of sub contractors was always a priority. The finished home is exactly as we expected. Over all rating is 5 star."

"I to have used many contractors over the years. Loviolette Enterprises is the best contractor I have ever worked with hands down.
I hired him to do a Kitchen remodel among other things around the house.  He did a Fantastic Job, cleaning up the issues left by other contractors and doing a perfect remodel on the kitchen, including removing walls and replacing everything in the Kitchen.  AND he was able to complete the work in about 100 hours.  As always there are unexpected problems during a construction or remodel project, he handled all the situations perfectly.
The Owner is the most contentious, caring and professional contractor I have ever worked with.  He Is a pleasure to work with and I would recommend him for any level of contracting work required.

Unfinished Carpentry questions, answered by experts

The primary parts of a house that need framing during construction are floors, exterior walls, interior walls, and the roof. The framing in these areas provides the skeleton for adding other materials over the top. With walls, for example, contractors can hang drywall over the interior walls and siding over the outside of the exterior walls. Proper framing ensures a sturdy house that is built to last.

While it is possible to build a wooden carport yourself, especially if you are skilled in carpentry, professional construction is recommended. Professionals ensure structural integrity, proper anchoring, correct alignment, and the use of quality materials for a stable and durable result.

You may need a permit to install your window seat. Even though it's an indoor modification, some municipalities require permits for any built-ins added to homes. Check with your carpenter or, if you're DIY-ing, do some research on your city's requirements.

Building a barndominium means converting a barn into a house. Barndominiums are becoming popular as spacious and stylish alternatives to typical housing structures. Old barns that become houses traditionally consist of wooden construction. However, newer structures, such as pole barns, often contain metal exteriors and roofs. Converting a metal outbuilding into a house presents an excellent opportunity to create a barndominium from metal.

The cost to install a bow window can range from $1,500 to $15,000, with a national average of $3,900. The total price includes materials, which can cost between $1,200 and over $14,000, and labor, which typically adds $300 to $1,900. Several factors influence the final cost, including the window's size and frame material. For example, vinyl frames are the most budget-friendly option, while wood frames are more expensive. Custom features or energy-efficient upgrades will also increase the price. For comparison, a bay window installation typically costs between $1,000 and $7,000.
