"Mark Gonzalez did a wonderful job on our daughter’s house. We called him and he came out and gave us a quote. Scheduling was an issue and we chose to wait for him to be available. We are glad we did. He did what he agreed to do and then some. An example is in order. The task was to repair sheetrock in several areas throughout the house. Those areas were enumerated and discussed. During the course of the job, he saw other areas that needed repair and fixed those too. He did not make a big deal of it. He just did it. He is also an artist. For example, we were supposed to provide the paint. He requested that he be allowed to get the paint which was great for us. He took samples and went to Sherwin Williams. When he got back with the matched paint, he was not satisfied (looked good to us). He took the paint back and had it redone. To us, it looked good the first time and perfect the second time. His rates are extremely reasonable and does a superb job. Scheduling may be an issue so we suggest to allow sufficient time for him to get to your project. You will be really glad you did."

"Mr. Scott Cleveland and his guys did an excellent job of staining our house and detached garage. It was a very labor intensive job with a lot of challenging conditions related to applying the stain. They worked around the weather and humidity, along w/ detailed directions for applying it and maintained a positive attitude throughout the process. The results were great and I am a VERY picky client. I would highly recommend Cleveland Painting and Remodeling if you are looking for a reasonable price with quality workmanship. We will certainly be calling him for future projects."

"They are very quick, clean and polite. They make sure to cover everything so there are no drips on anything. They are very professional and keep small talk to a minimum. They are available if I have any questions for them. They have painted the interior and exterior of my home. I met with Jess, who has taken over for his father, he is attentive and is not fishing for work. I have worked with him and his father for many years. They did make an error with a door of mine and attempted to fix it but was unsuccessful. Later, they noticed the door was not right and I explained what had happened and the door was then fixed properly."

"After reviewing Angie’s list, I was able to identify two (2) general contractors in my area. The first provided a general hourly quote over the phone and scheduled an appointment to provide me the number of hours required to complete the work. The second general contractor was Gulf Coast Master Craftsmen. Michael Mortensen (owner and master craftsman) contacted me regarding my request for a quote and scheduled a meeting based upon my schedule which was approximately 6:30 pm to accommodate my work schedule. When I arrived home, Michael was waiting for me and we proceeded to discuss the work that was needed in addition to discussing additional work that I wanted completed. Michael recommend coming back the following day with equipment to better inspect the entire house trim to identify rotted areas in order to provide an accurate quote. A detailed quote was provided by the end of the day with pictures of damaged/rotted trim. Once approval was provided, Michael started the project within a few days. Michael notified me when he arrived at my property to start work in addition to sending me pictures at the end of the day of work performed. The project was completed in 2 days and I was once again asked to meet Michael to conduct a walk-through of work that was completed to ensure my satisfaction. The house looks much brighter (amazing what new trim and paint can do!) and although I did not anticipate having to replace house/chimney trim – Michael was able to respond and complete the work quickly to avoid disruption. I am extremely detailed and expect high level of service from anyone I hire. The work performed was seamless - the work blended well and does not look patchy which was a concern seeing as how sections were replaced. Michael addressed some observations I made related to paint splatters and even though some were from the previous owners Michael went above and beyond and cleaned up the brick. Michael clearly takes pride in his work and we will be using Michael in the near future for additional projects!"

"The crew was very prompt and efficient. They worked hard until the project was finished, and the boss (Mr. Garza) came by three times to evaluate progress and communicate the schedule. They were quite thorough in making sure all areas were painted properly. They could have improved on clean-up. Though they swept and raked, I found old paint around hedges and in flower beds. I had compared several estimates and Mr. Garza's came in significantly lower. However, his estimate included only one coat of paint whereas others included two. I did not immediately recognize this, but Mr. Garza assured me one coat of the paint he used would be sufficient due to his quality. He gave me the option of having a second coat for an additional $700. The second coat did not prove to be necessary, and the final cost came in several hundred dollars below the other estimates."
