Home Remedy LLCIt went great! This was the fourth job Home Remedy has performed for us over the years and they continue to be Grade "A". They were prompt in responding to our initial inquiry, showed up on time to discuss the project and even suggested ways to make it better than we planned. After we agreed on service and cost (we are retired and on a budget) they showed up when they said they would and five days later we have a beautiful pergola! At the end of each day the crew left a clean worksite which the wife and I really appreciate! Revis and his crew finished the job right on time. ABBA General ContractingABBA demolished my substandard, detached garage and constructed a new carriage-style garage, a mudroom, and a screened patio. The project turned out great, and I continue to get compliments from my neighbors. Carl and Joe were super to work with; I always knew they were dealing in good faith to provide me exactly what I needed and wanted, and at a fair price, without the hassle of contract amendments for each realtime change of plan. For example, I had not considered the benefits of having a sliding glass door access from my living room onto the new porch. They continuously advised me about things I had not considered, such as the best direction for doors to open, the best locations of windows, three-way light switches, etc. I heartily encourage anyone with a remodeling or construction project to talk to ABBA--you will be impressed.- Larry G.

SLP ConstructionAs I was planning to enclosure the patio of the house I was moving in and turn it into a sunroom I had different companies come and give me their estimates for my project. Some of these companies who are particularly specialized in building sunrooms presented beautiful projects. I picked Pablo, the owner of SLP Construction over these companies because of the reviews on Angie's List and because he seemed trustworthy. He too gave me a very affordable estimate. I trusted him, and he did not disappoint me. Indeed, he exceeded my expectations. The project turned out to be a gorgeous sunroom which added much more value to my new home. New Image Remodels LLCJohnny and his teams did a great job with collaborating with owners from the quote, to design phase and all the way through construction, ensuring safety and quality along the way, even during a pandemic. The project included building a vaulted ceiling/roof and tile work on top of an existing concrete slab. The main features of the patio include a gas fireplace, stone accent wall and sitting bench, ceiling fan, water connection for outdoor appliances, and additional power outlets. Johnny remained a high level of customer service through the 2.5 month period from initial contact through completed project. On rare occasion, homeowners needed to bring some matters up with Johnny regarding subcontractors. In each case he resolved the issues within 24 hours. (The 4-month delay in writing this review was to ensure no quality issues arose; none have, which speaks to the high quality of craftsmanship.)- Craig G.

I remodeled my condo in Midtown and was extremely pleased with the end results. The contractor, Tony, was responsive to my needs and the work performed was impressive. The remodeling involved; new sheetrock, painting, new carpets, new fixtures, new blinds custom fitted, resurfacing and polishing of tile floors and work was done according to Covid protocols. Tony paid special attention to detail and finishes; the final results was of high-quality. The remodeling was completed in a flexible timeline, consistent with my needs. The resulted work has improved the function and appearance, as well as, the value of my property and is to be commended.

The project took place as we all were going through the shock of initial COVID 19 lockdowns and challenges the pandemic presented. Craftsmanship and overall quality of work was solid. The team took a great deal of care with prep work to protect the house, cover the floors, furniture, etc, as well as with follow-up clean ups. Client service was excellent. Like with any project, there were a few follow-up items and the team was always attentive to feedback and delivered. Along the way, we asked the team to work on several unrelated mini-projects which they always took and did a great job. We took a lot of comfort in Cameron’s leadership of the project, being present, always in touch with the crew and the client, and his overall professionalism. The team did a great job for us and we would certainly hire them again!

He started the job but then I would get excuses why he couldn't come out to work on my project. This went back and forth and needless to say he didn't finish the job. The job was supposed to start on a Monday, he texted and had to delay until Wednesday. Wednesday came and they didn't show up. I had to contact him to find out why. He was not a good communicator or very professional. His crew would come and work for a few hours and leave but no one would ever communicate when he would be back or where they were at on the project. It was supposed to take 2 to 3 days and ended up taking almost 5 days. I specifically asked for a bigger posts to be put in which he agreed to but then brought the smaller posts to be put in and only got the bigger ones when I had to keep asking and put my foot down. The price was great, the quality was okay but everything else was horrible. By the end, he was very rude and pushy about getting paid as quick as possible. They left my yard a mess with trash, water bottles and leftover supplies which I had to ask them to clean up. He was a complete dick. This was not a good experience at all.
