When we start a job, we always communicate with home owners from beginning work to the completion of their project job. We will communicate with home owner each day (and during the day, if needed) to keep them updated on details and progress of their project. We are also known for our detailed coverings such as but not limited to, plastic walls around the project, protecting all flooring for inside work. For outside work, our crews use ample coverings such as but not limited to drop clothes, plastic, masking tape etc. to assure a very neat and clean job. Brick, landscaping, glass and hardware will be thoroughly protected from paint spills or over spray. We make sure the job is cleaned up each day. We pay attention to details on all work. All of our work is done the correct way and we never compromise quality by taking any short cuts. Our subcontractors have worked with us for many years. We keep the same ones, which makes it easier maintaining the jobs, and of course trust them working inside our customers’ homes. We have repeat customers going back as long as 32 years. They already know what to expect how we run our jobs. We treat new customers the same way as we have done for repeat customers over the many years.

Jack Stilley has been our contractor for various home projects since the 1990s. He came over immediately when I had water pouring though our kitchen ceiling due to a burst pipe in May. Thankfully he was able to salvage our kitchen cabinets and after about six weeks of work, our 32 year old kitchen looks almost brand new! He is very conscientious and detail oriented and I wouldn’t hesitate to hire him again.

My Kitchen remodel was transformative. Had the old cabinets, countertops and flooring removed and hauled off. Jack and his crew finished removal in one day. Jack installed new cabinets, countertops and tile back splash. The new sink, faucet/sprayer and disposal were plumbed in. New light switches, plugs and recessed lights were installed. The new stainless vent hood tied in the stainless gas stove and refrigerator and looks great. Really impressed the fiinished product.

The minute I met Jack when he did a project on my parents home, I liked him. The project he did for them was done in a neat, efficient, and timely manner. The project was done to perfection. I then referred him to a relative who was having trouble with a contractor who was working on her home. She had heavy mold remediation and the home needed to be completely rebuilt. Once Jack got involved, his attention to detail was evident! He corrected the issues from the other contractor and completed the project. The final result was her home was restored and beautiful. His sub-contractors have been with him a long time and they are conscience and work very hard. Jack, the owner, makes you feel comfortable and is incredibly easy to work with. We would absolutely hire him again, and have no hesitation in referring him for friends and family projects. We can't thank him enough for a job well done!

Jack Stilley was recommended by the former owner when we bought our house 32 years ago, and has been with us ever since. So when pipes burst during the February, 2021, freeze, we called Jack. The water caused so much damage the entire downstairs of our house had to be taken down to the wall studs and concrete floors. Jack took on this huge project and overcame all of the many challenges, including a long delay due to insurance and our living upstairs all but the first 5 nights. That slowed the work but he knew how much we did not want to be in an apartment for months, so he organized the work around us.. We took the opportunity, with Jack's expert help, to modernize and have upgrades installed. Everything was done properly. His crews were efficient and cleaned up every day. Our neighbors commented that there was never any trash left outside. We are very happy with our new downstairs, and highly recommend Jack for any job, no matter how large or small.

Over the last three years (most recent job completed May 2020) we have hired Jack and his crews to complete an overhaul on the exterior of our home and to replace flooring that was improperly installed (and outside of the installers warranty period). Jack is very thorough and we felt very comfortable that he knew the scope of the work needed. The siding/gutter/paint job experienced several delays due to weather but every day his crew left the job, they ensured any exposed areas were weatherproof. Any and all work Jack has done has exceeded our expectations. The flooring install was even completed one day faster than anticipated! We would not hesitate to hire Jack again.

I spoke with several contractors, but I was most impressed with Jack Stilley when I first spoke with him during the estimate process. The first day he came out to my home, he stayed over three hours measuring everything and getting details from me. Then he came back the next week with one of his crew to get more measurements. That is the level of detail I saw throughout the entire remodel. Jack is very picky, and he makes sure everything is done and completed correctly. The materials he chose are top-grade. His crew are skilled tradesmen and professionals. Remodeling is a hassle and disruption in your life. But Jack and his crew made the entire process run smoothly, efficiently and with ease. I receive huge compliments from friends and neighbors when they see the work Jack and his crew did. They are blown away with the fine detail, as I am. It went very well. Jack did a walk through of my house where I showed him my various projects. He gave me suggestions on how I could fix a few items. He provided a detailed quote and performed the work promptly. He kept me updated when weather wouldn't allow outside repairs to be made. He also worked with me to get the paint color on a patch area just right as I didn't have the original paint and I thought I knew the color. I was wrong and Jack helped me to get the paint to match.. Discussions with Jack gave me the confidence that his company could remove and replace the timbers without damage to the older style stucco. He was familiar with my desire to have the older dimension timbers for replacement as a prior contractor had repaired with modern dimension timbers, and it didn't have a professional look. The older timbers and decoration woodwork were removed and replaced; then primed and painted with two coats of paint. Everything was sealed; then the stucco was painted with new paint. It looks terrific! Jack and I had several discussions before, during, and after and he was always friendly, informative and profession.

Jack built us a garden pavilion a few years ago that still looks like new today. It was built adjacent to our vegetable garden and we use the space for covered dining. It complements our house aesthetic very nicely- rustic, but sturdy. We’ve used Memorial West Contractors many times over the last 10-15 years. Jack is honest, knowledgeable, and a very nice person!

GREAT! I didn't know what to do so I called Jack. I thought only the ceiling was effected but his guys found mold all the way to the floor. They stripped the drywall, shelves, carpet, and ceiling insulation; sprayed retardant until everything checked out (had to sand the wood to be sure, one of Jack's sons was a licensed mold remediation guy) and then rerocked the walls, painted, put in new shelves and put in the tile I had selected. I ONLY use Jack for work on my home.

Very well. The bid and completion of the work were done promptly. They did an excellent job of removing the cabinets while minimizing the damage to the underlying drywall. Jack Stilley came with our house, recommended by the former owner. He kept our roof going 27 years until damage from Hurricane Harvey necessitated a new roof. Jack is meticulous about his work. He walks through the progress of the project so you are well informed about the work being done. If there are any snags, he offers options on how address it based on cost and overall look. You can count on him to be straight forward with his opinions on what needs to be done. I am happy with the completed work. The timeline was delayed because of Harvey repairs but he kept in communication on what was going on, and made it a priority to finish my projects.

Jack Stiley (owner of Memorial West Contractors) is very reasonable and will work with you to find a solution for any size job. I had contacted a few other contractors for some handyman work in a corporate office but they said they weren’t interested because the job was too small. He’s also very trustworthy. My company accidentally overpaid him due to an invoicing mix-up and he actually notified us and returned the check. It’s nice to find a contractor with fair pricing and integrity these days.

West Memorial Contractors estimates were very professionally written detailing the list of all the different things that needed to be repaired. Jack Stilley was excellent at communicating with me and letting me know exactly what to expect the next working day. The estimates were reasonably priced. After the work was performed all equipment was promptly removed. I will most definitely call West Memorial to take care of my future needs. I can recommend this company to anybody with no reservatons.
