"We were very concerned about our centuries old oak trees that had been in our family since 1852. When I called Kevin at Arborcare and Consulting he was working in the area and able to come out the next day. He and his associate were very knowledgeable and showed us the evidence of Oak Wilt and another fungus that had put our trees in decline. Yes, cutting a tree's roots can cause it to fall, particularly if major support roots are severed. In extreme cases, trimming roots can affect the tree's structure and stability. Many crucial roots are located just below the soil's surface. If you’re looking to rot a tree stump fast, potassium nitrate will work far quicker than copper nails.
