"I was very pleased with this moving service. They took care to wrap all my furniture so it wouldn't be damaged. They also sorted my boxes by size, so that I could unpack them easily. You can’t start preparing for movers too soon. Some steps, like scheduling the movers and arranging for pet care, need to happen months ahead to fit into busy schedules, especially if you’re moving during on-season.

Several weeks ahead of the moving date, start packing lesser-used rooms and supplies. As the moving day gets closer, move your packing toward more and more essential rooms until only a few necessities are left on the day ahead of the move.

It’s best to schedule a moving pod two months before your moving date. This should give you enough time to secure the correct size and number of moving pods you need. It’s often possible to book moving pods on shorter notice, even within one week, but there’s a higher risk of local pods already being taken, especially if you’re moving during the summer or on a holiday or weekend.

Moving across state lines is a similar process to moving within a state. Packing, loading, and unloading of trucks will follow the same process.
