Nationwide Movers

****BEWARE ***This company is an absolute scam. They promise you a guaranteed out of pocket rate, then triple it when the movers show up. Then promise delivery within three days and I now sit still waiting for my property to be delivered more than two weeks later. I got someone on the phone twice and both times they gave me fake delivery dates where no one showed up or communicated anything. Now they do not answer the phone or return messages. Guess I will be suing.

Very pleased with nationwide movers. Arrived promptly and were all business. Very careful with my possessions. Concerned about how they would navigate the parking lots at both locations but done with no inconvenience to others.

The crew of nationwide movers did an outstanding job. Items where packed securely, quickly, and efficiently. The move went very smoothly and they were done in less time than I anticipated. I asked for help putting furniture pads, which I had purchased, on items during the move and they made sure it was done on all items. Hello! I do not usually post anything but felt compelled to share with everyone what an outstanding experience I had yesterday with nationwide movers. The team of four men who came could not have been more professional, courteous, helpful, and careful with our belongings. They were on time, prepared for the unexpected, and handled four flights of stairs with ease. nationwide movers did a truly outstanding job. They took the stress out of moving. I would highly recommend them. Two thumbs up and a five star review from us.

Not an actual moving company, they are broker, they quote you number that is not factual, they say that there are no hidden fees but there are. The cost is almost double what I was quoted. When I called for services, I was treated extremely poorly, like I was a criminal. Stay as far away from this organization as possible.

Nationwide called me early afternoon, asked if they could pick up my belongings, and they were finally delivered. I am seeking a refund of $1,000

We were very happy with our two-day move using Nationwide Movers. The entire process was smooth from beginning to end. Unbelievably expensive. Quote was lower than most companies I contacted. But, when all was said and done, it cost 3 times the amount of the quote. Hospitals have to disclose all that will be charged on the bill upfront. Airlines have to disclose everything offered and paid for on your flight upfront. Rental vehicles have to disclose all costs to the customers, before the rental. Purchasing a new car, the salesperson has to disclose all costs related to the final balance, before you buy the car. I would never recommend them because they don't honor their initial contract.

This was our 3rd time using Nationwide Movers, and we genuinely wouldn’t trust anyone else. They’re reliable, always on time, and went above and beyond by helping us arrange the necessary permits so we had parking at both locations. The team handled the packing and unloading with total care and professionalism. Every member of the crew worked incredibly hard no time was wasted. Truly the best moving company we’ve ever worked with!

5 stars! I have moved about 11-15 times in my life, and the service from Nationwide Movers was exceptional. Selecting a moving company is a difficult choice, so do yourself a favor and contract with Nationwide Movers. Communication and pricing was straightforward. Other movers quoted me a set fee that was almost twice what I paid. Nationwide Movers charges by the hour, but they had four men who moved quickly and efficiently. They wrapped all my furniture to protect it and were very careful with my possessions. I moved from a two bedroom townhouse to a two bedroom condo on the 6th floor. It only took them four hours to wrap my furniture, load the truck, drive 45 minutes to my new residence, unload the truck and bring everything to the 6th floor, remove all the moving blankets from my furniture, and clean up all the trash. Four hours! I couldn't believe how fast they completed the job. The crew was awesome. I highly recommend Nationwide Movers.

Company owner and his team were so amazing!!! They were all very friendly. They were fast but at the same time not a single thing got damaged or broken. They are definitely the experts on moving. I submitted a request to Angie s List as I was getting ready to sell our house. I was looking for a pool company to make some repairs to our pool. When I spoke to the representative from Angie s List, it was mentioned that we were moving out of state. I was told that Angie s List could assist with that as well. In response to that conversation, I received a call from Erik with Nationwide Van Lines. He represented himself as an employee of an A-Plus company that has been in business for 25-plus years. I asked Erik to give me a quote for a full-service, out-of-state move. I was very happy with the quoted price and was encouraged by Erik to go forward with a Risk Free Deposit of $1,700.00. At the time, I was only able to pay $500.00. In hindsight, I consider that a blessing! Erik emailed me the moving quote and asked that I electronically sign it at my convenience and send it back. He had already taken payment of $500.00 for a Risk Free deposit. For the record, I never did electronically sign the moving estimate. As I was contacted through Angie s List, it didn t even cross my mind that they could be scammers! About a week later, I was contacted by Brandon. He advised me that Erik had been terminated and Brandon was my new contact person. Never was it mentioned by Erik or Brandon that there was a 72-hour cancellation window. This shouldn t matter, however, as I did not electronically sign the moving estimate! As the move was approaching, I decided to call and pay the balance of my deposit. After a gut feeling, I decided to do a little more research before paying my balance. When I googled Nationwide Van Lines, I noticed a different phone number and address. I decided to call the 800 number that came up with my Google search. They answered as Nationwide Van Lines. I advised them I had an upcoming move and that I would like to work out a few details with them. When the customer service representative couldn t find my info, she advised me that I had been scammed. The real Nationwide Van Lines receives calls almost daily with horror stories of people who have been scammed by the company Nationwide Movers. The representative advised me that Nationwide Movers has been using the reputable name of Nationwide Van Lines to try and get business. They are known for lowballing the estimate to get the business, and then they greatly increase the price and use a third-party mover to complete the work. Sometimes, even holding your stuff hostage. She asked that I file a complaint with the Department of Transportation, which I did. The DOT number is for a company called EZ Moving Group DBA Nationwide Movers.
