They wrapped everything carefully, handled all furniture with precision, and moved efficiently without cutting corners. They were polite, respectful, and unbelievably hardworking. Nationwide Movers picked me up and got me delivered to San Diego California on November 2. It took them about a week to get me delivered which I was fine with. I did want it to be a couple days sooner but it was over 2300 miles. I opted for the full packing service and everything went smooth. Jason and Natasha were great.

This company misrepresented themselves from the very beginning. I found them on Angi?s list. They stated they were a direct carrier not a broker- not true. Initial contact went smoothly right up until a week before my move July 2025. I had an estimate for the move but the Monday of the week I was moving, they made a ?quality check? phone call and went back over the inventory. By the end of the call they had added an additional $1300! There was all kinds of confusion as to when the truck was actually going to arrive. I was afraid they would?t show. When the truck arrived,(subcontracted) it was a U-Haul with just the driver! He hired some pickup person to help. When then got loaded, the driver was telling me it would cost more due to there being more than the inventory! I refused. Unloading was equally bad, hired a local helper and they was a variety of damage. Then when it came time to pay, I was told cash or money order only! This was never discussed! Never, ever use this company!

"We are a carrier not a broker. We are licensed and registered with a Department of transportation as a carrier. We did the pick up unfortunately all of our trucks were being used so we did utilize a U-Haul. When the cost went up, it was because you added items to your inventory list that you didn?t add on your original inventory."

I received a confirmation call the day before and text updates the morning of the move, which immediately put me at ease. The crew arrived on time in a clean, well-marked truck, wearing matching uniforms and big smiles. They introduced themselves, walked through the house with me, and carefully reviewed the inventory before lifting a single box. I’ve moved several times over the years, but this was by far the best experience I’ve had with a moving company. Nationwide Movers exceeded every expectation, from Jason Moore who explained every detail, to the hardworking movers who handled my antiques and electronics like their own. They arrived early, packed everything efficiently, and stayed upbeat and courteous the entire day (even with three flights of stairs involved!). When my shipment arrived out of state, the delivery team reassembled my furniture perfectly and double-checked every room before leaving. Nationwide Movers picked me up in Coconut Creek, Florida, and moved me to Los Angeles California. It was a very big move and very stressful for me and my family. ****BEWARE ***This company is an absolute scam. They promise you a guaranteed out of pocket rate, then triple it when the movers show up. Then promise delivery within three days and I now sit still waiting for my property to be delivered more than two weeks later. I got someone on the phone twice and both times they gave me fake delivery dates where no one showed up or communicated anything. Now they do not answer the phone or return messages. Guess I will be suing.

Not an actual moving company, they are broker, they quote you number that is not factual, they say that there are no hidden fees but there are. The cost is almost double what I was quoted. When I called for services, I was treated extremely poorly, like I was a criminal. Stay as far away from this organization as possible.

Moving truck showed up on the agreed day. Driver and loaders were thorough but had not been communicated with about the extra stops so I wrote out the timeline for them. We talked about how long it would take to get to the first stop and I assured them someone would be there to meet them the next day even if I wasn't. I am suspicious that they just didn't want to finish and drove back to Chicago. Our moving overseer, Jason Moore had gone through all the information and said it would be easy since ours were the only goods on the truck so they could go straight down on Tues. July 29th. Then when I heard nothing and started trying to call Jason and the driver I was ghosted. Neither answered my texts, emails or calls. Mr. Parker later said Jason had a family emergency but they left no one to care for the customers and his voicemail was full. I called Angi I believe on Thursday and you connected me to Mr. Parker (at least I think that was his name) and that was the first time he was nasty to me. My husband called him Friday and was equally nasty but told him our goods would be in Cleveland Sunday or Monday and here we are on Aug 4 with no goods and they are not answering the phone. Important medications are on the truck as well as keepsakes and important documents.

Unbelievably expensive. Quote was lower than most companies I contacted. But, when all was said and done, it cost 3 times the amount of the quote. Hospitals have to disclose all that will be charged on the bill upfront. Airlines have to disclose everything offered and paid for on your flight upfront. Rental vehicles have to disclose all costs to the customers, before the rental. Purchasing a new car, the salesperson has to disclose all costs related to the final balance, before you buy the car. I would never recommend them because they don't honor their initial contract.

I submitted a request to Angie s List as I was getting ready to sell our house. I was looking for a pool company to make some repairs to our pool. When I spoke to the representative from Angie s List, it was mentioned that we were moving out of state. I was told that Angie s List could assist with that as well. In response to that conversation, I received a call from Erik with Nationwide Van Lines. He represented himself as an employee of an A-Plus company that has been in business for 25-plus years. I asked Erik to give me a quote for a full-service, out-of-state move. I was very happy with the quoted price and was encouraged by Erik to go forward with a Risk Free Deposit of $1,700.00. At the time, I was only able to pay $500.00. In hindsight, I consider that a blessing! Erik emailed me the moving quote and asked that I electronically sign it at my convenience and send it back. He had already taken payment of $500.00 for a Risk Free deposit. For the record, I never did electronically sign the moving estimate. As I was contacted through Angie s List, it didn t even cross my mind that they could be scammers! About a week later, I was contacted by Brandon. He advised me that Erik had been terminated and Brandon was my new contact person. Never was it mentioned by Erik or Brandon that there was a 72-hour cancellation window. This shouldn t matter, however, as I did not electronically sign the moving estimate! As the move was approaching, I decided to call and pay the balance of my deposit. After a gut feeling, I decided to do a little more research before paying my balance. When I googled Nationwide Van Lines, I noticed a different phone number and address. I decided to call the 800 number that came up with my Google search. They answered as Nationwide Van Lines. I advised them I had an upcoming move and that I would like to work out a few details with them. When the customer service representative couldn t find my info, she advised me that I had been scammed. The real Nationwide Van Lines receives calls almost daily with horror stories of people who have been scammed by the company Nationwide Movers. The representative advised me that Nationwide Movers has been using the reputable name of Nationwide Van Lines to try and get business. They are known for lowballing the estimate to get the business, and then they greatly increase the price and use a third-party mover to complete the work. Sometimes, even holding your stuff hostage. She asked that I file a complaint with the Department of Transportation, which I did. The DOT number is for a company called EZ Moving Group DBA Nationwide Movers.

"This customer never even moved with us. They have us mixed up with Garrison logistics. And it is completely legal and legitimate to utilize a DBA. That?s why the department of transportation allows you to have one. This customer made a $500 deposit to Garrison logistics. They did not make a $500 deposit to Nationwide Movers. There is no money for us to return to the customer because we never took the deposit. We?ve tried to reach the customer several times to explain and resolvewith no success.."
