He went through the entire home - top to bottom and has the pictures to prove that he even went on top of the roof. He met with us, and showed each of the areas that had issues and patiently explained the issue and recommended repairs. He even found out that our dishwasher wasn’t connected properly. He answered all of our questions and we never had the impression that he was in a rush. It was an afternoon inspection, and it ran a little late due to our questions. "Justin "found" numerous things to complain about on our house. There were a few things that he was right about, but most of it was trumped up. Keeping in mind that his job is to find things wrong, so that buyers can dicker with sellers, he's doing great (sarcasm intended). Here are some examples: 1. The yard has a downgrade that "could lead to flooding". We are the first house on the top of the hill. There's no chance of flooding. 2. "Possible termite damage". There has never been termites on this property. It is all brick. Termites are now eating brick for breakfast? 3. "Possible Rodent Infestation", which he based on the fact that attic insulation appears to be moved around. This is because we have a lot of blown in insulation. It's not supposed to be flat. Not rodent issues. 4. He said our water heater didn’t pass inspection. We just had the piping replaced this past spring, and it passed inspection then. It was inspected by a professional, and we have the paperwork to prove it. Trumping up make believe problems is unprofessional and demonstrates a total lack of integrity. If you're a buyer looking to screw over sellers, I'd recommend him. If you prefer to know the truth......Steer Clear!"

"I called Precision (who is also now Fox through a buyout?) to service my AC. They sent two technicians, one of who was very nice and the other not so. The nice technician said up front that it was too cold to get a good reading off the AC, and I offered to set another date. The not-so-nice technician insisted it could be done by wrapping garbage bags around it. They were already out, and the not-nice one was insistent, so I let them look at the AC unit. The nice technician got to work looking at the units in the attic, and the not-so-nice one started asking questions. During the conversation, I mentioned that I had had trouble over the last couple of years because the refrigerant was low, and they were able to add some, and it worked fine. The not-nice technician immediately started talking about a new unit without any diagnostic effort saying that the cost of a new unit might be cheaper than putting refrigerant in. He said that even if it worked, the hole is likely bigger because they grow over time, so it would likely fail anyway. It felt like we were in a verbal jousting match and ended up with the not-nice technician going down to look at the outside unit. He looked at it briefly and pointedly noted that it was missing a sticker that "goes right here." (It looked like he was just pointing at a random blank spot). He said he would have to start putting the refrigerant in and weighing it out because there was no sticker on the unit. I guess there is no way in today's age to get from a model number to information about the specs of a device. At that point, I was done. I paid their service fee and asked them to leave. The parting words from the not-nice technician were, "We wouldn't put in a unit for you anyway." I still don't know how a garbage bag would help, but there you go."
