Daniel H. Did an amazing job on our new home inspection. He arrived on time, and we met with him at the end of his process. He went through the entire home - top to bottom and has the pictures to prove that he even went on top of the roof. He met with us, and showed each of the areas that had issues and patiently explained the issue and recommended repairs. He even found out that our dishwasher wasn’t connected properly. He answered all of our questions and we never had the impression that he was in a rush. It was an afternoon inspection, and it ran a little late due to our questions. We feel more prepared to move into our home knowing what to look for and to be sure that repairs have been made. THANKS DANIEL for a great job. WE really appreciate it.

I highly recommend DBL Check. The inspection was accomplished to meet my timeframe and was easy to schedule. The inspector arrived on time and provided a very thorough inspection. The thermal imaging was helpful to find energy efficiency and other problems. The report was detailed with explanations and pictures. I found the report very helpful; the inspector found many items I would have missed. Highly recommended.

We could not be happier with Dbl Check LLC. We were on a tight time frame since we were quickly approaching the one year mark in our home but also had a vacation scheduled right around the same time. Allan with Dbl Check was able to accommodate our schedule and made sure we had the inspection report in time to file everything under our home warranty. When Allan came out to the house, he was very thorough and took the time to explain what he was seeing, what he was looking for, and documented it all with pictures and detailed descriptions. The final report made it very easy for us to address the issues with our builder and we were confident that Allan and the Dbl Check team would be around after the inspection to answer any questions. It's been a few months now and we did run into an issue with our builder regarding one of the items on the inspection. Allan came back out to the house, re-checked the area in question, and went above and beyond to answer my questions, as well as provide additional information. This company is truly top-notch. They believe in excellent customer service and in the services they provide. I would, and have, highly recommend them.

Very easy to work with and very responsive. I was able to contact them every time I needed, even if nobody picked up, I received a call back within 5 min. Report was very detailed. When report talked about foundation/insulation/electrical box, it showed use of high tech gadgets, which were awesome. The only reason for B in quality is because it did not include Estimated price for repair and inspector did not provide info(in my previous experience from FL, report did include).

Patrick was great - very thorough, took about 4 to 5 hours to do the inspection. Got on the roof, went in the attic, took pictures of everything. He explained all the issues and possible remedies, etc. His report came to me via email the next day. The termite inspection was separate and done two days later. We got that report several days after it was done. All in all, we were very pleased with this company. Probably a little more expensive than others, but they were upfront that they were more expensive but also more thorough. I would use them again in a heartbeat.

Patrick was super awesome - professional, knowledgeable, thorough. He very patiently walked us through the major findings and my husband said (he has previously purchased 5 houses) Patrick was the most thorough inspector he has ever worked with, "blowing everyone else out of the water" was how he described him :) Thank you Patrick for making us feel a lot more confident in our purchasing decision going forward. It was a pleasure working with you! PS. we had pier and bean which cost extra, as well as termite. Anywho, it really is money well spent.

They were thorough.

They are professional, courteous, current, detailed, and a pleasure to work with. They used new equipment to measure the depth the slab and also did thermal imaging. I learned of them from neighbors, and I will share my appreciation for their work with others.

DBL Check was simply fantastic. They are a little pricier than some of the other inspection services out there, but they were incredibly thorough... and when it comes to a house purchase, why would you risk it?? I was impressed by the detail and amount of time that Allen spent on the properties (two! first deal didn't work out, and we hired them again for our next potential purchase). They were knowledgeable, on time, responsive. Everything you could want during such a stressful and crucial process during a home purchase. We opted for the full inspection, Wood Destroying Insect, and Thermal Imaging reports. Do yourself a favor, and call them right now if you're buying yourself a home.

It went well. It would have been better if the vendor's 58 page report would have been divided into Plumbing, Electrical, Wood, Painting, etc... instead of a 58 page report that identified improvements room by room. Why? So I could contract each category to resolve as a package. Hardest part is finding qualified, available labor in Austin, Tx. I've lived in 7 states and I've never experienced worse service than 78750.

Searching for a home inspector, and seeing all the rave reviews for Dbl Check, I decided to go with them for an inspection on a home, as first time home buyers, we were under contract to buy. It was the best decision I could have made. Daniel was extremely professional and thorough and I truly felt like I was in good hands. They were able to get in right away (closing was going to be in 4 weeks), and Daniel checked every nook and cranny of the property, including taking tons of pictures of all areas of concern. He then took as much time as needed to explain what he did, what he saw and what he felt could wait, or should be repaired immediately. Because of his inspection, my husband and I had a clearer picture of what we were possibly getting ourselves into (and it wasn't good lol). Daniel and Dbl Check saved us thousands of dollars, tons of time, and saved me from making a purchase that for us, would have been foolish. I cancelled the contract on that home, while we had the time and told Daniel that we will DEFINITELY be contacting him and Dbl Check for another inspection, once we find our home. Excellent, painless, professional

Allan was very nice and walked me through everything he was looking at and why. For a new home, he did find several things that I would have never caught myself. Now when I have my walk through with the builder I can point these things out to get fixed. I will be calling DBL back for the 1 year warranty walk. They did more than expected and every professional company to work with.

Great price, great service! I called DBL Check to inspect a new house we are buying in Steiner Ranch. Daniel was sent to our job and he showed up early, and graciously allowed me to accompany him on the inspection while explaining everything he found in detail as well as gave great advice as to what to watch out for in the future. He also stayed for longer than was expected because he was so thorough, then took extra time to sit down with my husband afterwards and explain his findings as well. This house is a huge investment for us, and even though it is fairly new, we want to be very sure that we aren't buying something that is going to suck more money from us, so we were very keen to get a good inspection. He did such a great job! Daniel was very knowledgeable, patient with my questions, very kind and professional, very thorough, report was really well done and clearly stated all issues with great explanations and pics, and he was great with communication. He went above and beyond for us, so overall best experience ever!
Update: after moving into our new house a month after the inspection, I am even more happy with the job Daniel did. The sellers fixed nearly everything on his report and the little things left over we are doing ourselves. We never would have found these issues had he not pointed them out to us, and I am certain he has saved us a lot of money in the long run! Bonus: i found a pipe sticking out of the wall by the washing machine that was capped off and had no idea what it was..rather than spend money and call someone to come out to see if it's a drain line for the washer or what, I just texted Daniel a pic and he gave me an explanation immediately, so we know now that it's an access point to clean out clogged washer drainage lines, not the drainage line itself!! He's been so great! Definitely recommend this company and especially Daniel.

We live out of state, and we are relying on what our realtor and inspector tell us about the property.  From what I was told by our agent, Aaron arrived promptly at 8:30am and completed his inspection in about 6 hours.  He looked at the house from the roof to the foundation (our first inspector on a different property looked at the roof from the street and "felt" for irregularities in the foundation).  He took many pictures and provided details of the problem areas (there were many) that he found.  The report was 63 pages long.  
In the end, we decided to pass on the property-not because it was a deathtrap, but a potential money pit.  We have been looking for a home in the Austin area for several months, and we had our hopes up that this was going to be the house for us...that wasn't snatched up by investors with deep pockets.  On paper and in pictures, it looked great.  But, on closer inspection by an experienced professional, it had many, many flaws.
Aaron went through his report with me over the phone, and took about 25 minutes to explain his findings and to answer my questions.
Aaron's inspection saved us from buying a potential money pit.  THANK YOU!
I wanted to use DBL Check for the inspection on the property we are currently trying to buy, but they do not serve Jarrell, TX.  Too bad.  They are a great company.

I am very pleased with the thoroughness of the report and the professionalism of the inspector. I have used the report as a basis for discussion with contractors giving bids for needed work. After contractors review the building, foundation, carport and shed, I can use the report to point out any items germane to their specific area that need work. I feel knowledgeable discussing construction and foundation issues because of the report. Money well spent and would do it again with this company. I highly recommend them.
