"With both building and architectural experience, Wally Westbrook has an excellent understanding of what is needed to achieve the best, and very different, end results for personal homes and investment properties. (He has helped me with both.) I particularly like his ability to understand what a site warrants. For example, he advised that an investment property did not need the size addition I was contemplating to achieve the result I wanted. He looks for cost effective ways to add a "wow" factor to even the most basic house. As if those qualities are not enough to recommend Westbrook Design, Wally is also a pleasure to work with. I will definitely use his services again."

"I wanted a ~550 sq. ft. concrete patio with fire pit so I entered that info into the Home Advisor website. Andres, owner of A.A. Construction, contacted me immediately after I entered my request into Home Advisor. He came out that day to walk the project area and gather the necessary information to complete a bid. He offered ideas that I hadn't thought about to make the project even better. Their bid was right in line with the others I collected but I had a better feeling about Andres than the other contractors. I am glad I chose A.A Construction. They communicated very well, arrived everyday when they said they would and completed the project faster than I had expected. They cleaned the job-site everyday of any trash/safety hazards which was a concern since I have small children that like to be outside. The end results exceeded my expectations and I would strongly recommend anyone looking to get work done give them a chance to win your business. A++ business, owner and employees."

"Amazing, Amazing, Amazing. The cleaning service was great, but there was something extra with Ashelys Touch. My wife and kids were home, and my kids are WILD so basically as Hes cleaning my children were messing it right back up, and He handled it perfectly. Honestly better than I could of done myself. Really really friendly. Would definitely recommend to the Houston area."

Treehouse Builders questions, answered by experts

Sustainable materials and energy-efficient designs support greener construction options.

In most cases, you can attach a greenhouse to any type of house. However, certain factors need to be considered, such as the structural integrity of the house, available space, and local building regulations. You should consult with a professional contractor or architect to assess the feasibility and ensure proper construction methods.

The only real drawback to green building is that it’s more expensive up front, with per-square-foot prices sitting 33% higher than what you’d pay to build a traditional home. The higher cost is due to more expensive building materials and more labor to ensure every aspect of the home is as efficient as possible. However, green buildings often save money in the long run, so this is just a temporary downside.

Don’t forget to factor in the climate where you live during the planning stage. If your area is prone to bitter cold and heavy snow, you might want to invest in stronger greenhouse materials like a concrete slab, steel frame, and glass walls or plan to take your greenhouse down for the winter.

Yes, proper grounding rods and conductors are essential for an effective system.
