We also repair and install all types of pool equipment, such as filters, pumps, heaters, timeclocks, etc. Even though we currently do not offer weekly maintenance, we can help with clearing up a pool, treat algae, clean filters, change out sand in sand filters, etc. We also Install handrail and slides, mastic (caulking) between coping and deck to prevent erosion under deck. "$3K for Cavitation, Chaos, and Zero Integrity I paid $3,000 expecting professional-grade pool plumbing and got contractor-grade garbage instead. They installed a janky suction line layout with multiple sharp 90° elbows before the pump, causing cavitation anytime I pull from one line. They completely skipped installing an expansion joint at the skimmer, which is a basic requirement that even rookie pool guys know to include. The plumbing looks like it was done without any thought to flow, balance, or long-term performance. They clearly never tested the system, never checked for suction issues, and left me with something I had to diagnose and fix myself. This isn’t just sloppy — it’s borderline negligent. Since then, I’ve had a legit Hayward dealer and experienced pool construction manager come in to clean up their mess. Night and day difference in quality, professionalism, and actual knowledge. Bottom line: If you value your money, time, or sanity — stay away from Integrity Pool Repair. Their name is a joke, and their work speaks for itself."

"So very sad after YEARS of loyal service... sadly it has come to an end. I told Monica about my heat error 2 weeks ago, and the pump would only work intermittently after Johnnie installed it. Johnny came out today after repeated calls. I was busy on the phone.. he told me he was replacing the pump.. and then he said I was good to go.. said goodbye to LOLA my dog. Johnnie is very friendly. He shows up on time.. very important. As for the SUPERVISOR who answered tonight.. when the same heater error is on.. told me to get a new HEATER.. then proceeded to tell me to get a new HOTTUB. He also told me to buy a better HOT TUB.. I am sure that MASTER SPA will be glad to hear that. I have been a customer for 20-plus years. I have never called anywhere else. If I need a heater.. then let me know that at the appointment.. not on the phone 6 hours later, after Johnnie says you all set. The man on the phone acted as though he had been here.. NOOOO.. he had not. I told him that.. that I knew exactly who Johnnie was.. and that Johnnie rather liked my DOG. He told me that was not true.. he hated my DOG. I never write a negative review without trying to resolve the matter first. The supervisor would not give me the owner's phone number when I requested it. I think the supervisor needs some training in how to ONE.. Sell repairs.. TWO.. not to bash the very reason you're in business.. MASTER SPA has great reviews and is by far not a CHEAP hot tub. Was it worth it ?? I really would prefer you fix my hot tub. Even if it is at my expense.. that is for me to decide.. not the supervisor. If this is what it takes to get someone's attention. I asked for an owner's phone number.. this sad that it came to this. A simple apology might have made this situation a whole lot better."

For a fully-foamed hot tub, freezing typically occurs when the temperature drops below 28 degrees Fahrenheit and remains at or below this level continuously for a minimum of 36 hours. If your hot tub and pumps are still operational, however, the water circulates, and this continuous movement helps prevent freezing, even in very cold conditions. This circulation, along with the insulation provided by the foam, helps maintain the water temperature and prevent it from freezing during extended cold periods. Still, if you’re not planning to run it regularly, be sure to winterize the hot tub properly to prevent damage from freezing.

Though a hot tub has many benefits, there are a few cons. Mainly, hot tubs require a lot of maintenance. You’ll need to deep clean yours quarterly, test the pH at least once or twice a week, and add sanitizing chemicals once a week. They also have relatively high ongoing costs since you’ll need to pay for electricity and repairs. 

Most newer hot tubs are not expensive to maintain. Hot tub maintenance costs about $500 to $1,000 per year. You can DIY, but a pro can clean and treat your hot tub with chemicals and save you time. The biggest hot tub expenses are heating and repairs, but you can preserve your investment with regular maintenance.

A compact unit designed for two to three people typically weighs approximately 500 pounds in its empty state. On the other hand, a larger hot tub meant for up to six people can weigh around 1,000 pounds when empty. Materials used also impact weight. Less expensive hot tubs are typically lighter because they are made of molded plastic or fiberglass.

It’s less expensive to leave your hot tub on all the time, though you’ll want to keep it at a reduced temperature. How much you use the hot tub is also a factor. You’ll want to keep it at a constant temperature between 80 and 95 degrees Fahrenheit for weekly or daily use, then bump it up right before you get in. If you don’t plan to use your hot tub that often, you can turn it off as long as there’s no risk of freezing.
