FIND SOMEONE ELSE. Firstly, I never write reviews but this has been a horrible experience. Sold me and installed a new controller, chlorinator, Heat Pump and repaired cracked three-way valve and pool lights. Service after the sale was atrocious. Pool cleaner is NOT working and can’t get it working with the Hayward controller. They did not take enough time to explain the functionality and want $250 for a service call to come look at the problems. Owner is impatient, condescending and somewhat abrasive. Maintains, he's not going to 'come out a give a "free lesson" on how to operate the controller. Requested the manuals and warranty information for the equipment and was told to go on-line and get them. Was told to go look for YouTube videos to learn how to operate equipment.

"I'm still sorry to hear that this is your perspective on the interaction. I told you that I would be happy to answer any questions over the phone that you may have in regards to the operation of the automation system, that in your words, was "not user friendly". As I explained to you, if you wanted us to come out and do a pool school for operating your system that was installed in June, (That was 3 months ago), that there would be a charge for doing so. I don't know of any item or industry that after purchasing gives you free visits to show you how to operate it months after the purchase. You were there when we installed it and programmed it. We answered all the questions you asked of us when we finished. As far as the remaining characterizations, I will not bother with responding to them. They are simply untruths. If you were so unhappy with the work that was completed, why wasn't this brought up 3 months ago? I understand that you are upset that we won't make a free trip to your house to show you how to operate the system, but to make it sound like anything other than that is false. David Howard, owner and installer of the system in question. (over 100 of these automation units installed over the last 11 years since they have been out, and one of the largest warranty companies in the greater Houston area)"

Two years later and heater for spa has never worked. Multiple visits by Oasis and hot tub has yet to ever heat up because the heater does not fire due to a water flow error. Paid in full..then moved the heater from its previous location citing "safety" (took 6 months to do this) and still waiting for them to get it to work.

"We went out 12/24/2019 all of the issues that were made by the customer are outside of warranty. These issues had nothing to do with the repairs we have done, these issues were maintenance issues that needed to be done by customer."

This review is long overdue! David Howard, the owner, and his team of consummate professionals at H2Oasis have provided weekly pool services and maintenance for our home in the Rice Village area for more than 6 years. They always exceed all expectations- both in quality and costs for repair and equipment. David Howard and his team are easily accessible via text and respond to all concerns and questions immediately providing assistance over the phone when possible or in person. Over the years, David and his team have replaced our three pool pumps, LED pool lights, control board and pool heater, in addition, to weekly cleaning and system maintenance. We give our highest recommendation for H2Oasis for all your pool needs.

I'm not often on here as I spend most of my days working in the field, but it'[Member Information Removed] always nice to read that we have made such a positive impact. We are not perfect, but we strive to be as close to it as possible, and try to do the right thing when things go awry."

Work began and then we were hit with Hurricane Harvey so the work took longer than anticipated obviously. This made the work more difficult than either of us anticipated but David and his crew hung in there and did a great job. The end result was a beautiful job.

The job went wonderfully. David and Paul and their team made the entire project seamless and were a pleasure to work with. They stopped by daily to inspect the progress and made timely changes to manage any unforeseen issues. They handled every aspect of the job, from design, to permitting, to installation and final inspection. The final project was exactly what we wanted and we use it every day!

The work went very well and we are very pleased with the results. I would certainly hire this company again as they are very professional. They have master plumbers and electricians on staff that handle all of the installation and they will pull the required permits so everything is filed with the City of Houston.

We have used H2Oasis for both our personal pool and our hospitality business's pool for the past several years. They are always very responsive, I get a quote before the work is done and if I am not at home at the time of service, they take pictures to show the work done. I would recommend them highly.

We first asked for a leak detection to be conducted; timely & courteous during the leak detection. Because my wife and I were able to meet David (owner) personally and discuss options we trusted that he was conducting his business in an honorable fashion and hired H2Oasis to also replace our electrical lines for our pool light (hasn't worked in years). They ran new electrical (FYI: there is a special license to be able to do electrical on pools (water) that H2Oasis is licensed in. Not all pool companies electricians have that so do your homework!) They installed a top quality LED pool light and everything is running perfect! we are looking forward to using the pool light for night swims, it changes colors and has a remote! Pretty cool. We are happy with the fair pricing and the technicians that H2Oasis had on our job. No issues, just happy customers.

Overall the job ended up extremely well. This was a pretty extensive remodel. David took the time to make sure it was done correctly. The initial quote did not include drainage work, but once the old deck was removed and he realized how bad our drainage system was in the back yard, he immediately advised us that we should have a professional engineer take a look and give us a plan. This was a really smart move as our lot is very flat and has a lot of drainage issues. Since there are a lot of "unknowns" when it comes to a remodel, there were things that had to be added to the scope as they were discovered. We had a very detailed estimate from David, so it was easy to see what was an addition and what was in the original scope. David took the time to explain any scope changes. It was easy to see that the additional work was needed and priced fairly. David was very patient with us as we took a lot of time to make sure the colors were "just right". The finished product is amazing. The pool and deck have transformed out back yard from an eyesore to a really cool family space. I would not hesitate to use H2Oasis for any size job

I chose this company of several bids because of their high rating on Angie's list and a competitive cost estimate. While I appreciate the fact that they did work with me when there were issues, in my opinion, many of these could have easily been avoided. They showed up without notice when no one was home 5 days before they were scheduled to start and tore out the old plaster. Three days later without notice, they woke us at 7:30AM on a Saturday morning to do 1 hour of cleanup. The spa was torn up for 5 days and the first call I received was asking for the payment that they were supposed to collect before starting the work. I wasn't told until they were re-plastering that the tiles in the spa would need to be replaced. I asked them to match the color and they replaced rust colored tiles with cobalt blue tiles. They did not turn the pool pump back on or put the jets back in when they left so it sat stagnant for 2 days until H2Oasis followed up. I was told the jets were to be left out for 7 days while it cures and that should've been on the invoice. It was not. I agreed to split the cost with H2Oasis and pay an additional $974 to have them re-plaster the spa instead of replace the tiles. I was told they would call to schedule this, but again they showed up without notice. Fortunately I was home because they were told to only replace the tiles and not re-plaster the spa. This time they left the jets in while chiseling out the old tile and while they re-plastered. I was only able to remove two of the jets so I asked them to come remove the other four. I noticed there was only 5 jets sitting out and when I contacted them, was told that one broke off and they would replace in a week when they put them back in. After 3 weeks, no one ever replaced the jets and I was emailed the $974 bill. I mailed them a check and hired another company to remove and replace the broken jet.

"We apologize for the miscommunication between our office, the homeowner and employees on the job site which contributed to the homeowner not being notified about when we would be there. In regards to the length of time that this project took, there were issues with weather around this time that caused the project to run longer than anticipated. Additionally, the original toe tile that was to be used in the spa was supposed to be the closest match to the existing waterline tie and the customer did not like the tile choice after the job was completed, so we agreed to let him choose a new toe tile and we replastered at our cost and split that cost with him. This also increased the length of the project. In regards to the statement that the job was not completed, the owner of our company was at the job site upon its completion to install the jets himself. We are unsure why the customer feels this was left incomplete. He never called us to say there was an issue with the job at this point."

We sought a second opinion/estimate from H2Oasis based on Angie's list reviews. They responded in a very timely manner, and provided excellent service. Their estimate was lower than the other company's, and the service provider was extremely knowledgeable. Both pumps were replaced and working within just a few days. While the deep clean we needed was expensive, the pool has not looked this good since we installed it 8 years ago! Finally, when we detected a leak (unrelated to the repair service already provided), the company sent out a service person ASAP, and the source of the leak was detected without the need for the more sophisticated (and much more expensive) leak detection procedure. All in all, we are extremely happy with the services provided!

"We are sorry to hear that you feel this way about the charge for the job we did for you. Our records show the customer was notified prior to the service call that there would be a labor charge due to the fact that the warranty on salt cells includes materials only. Additionally, when we got out to the job site the first for the salt cell, we found that the main circuit board was bad as well. Due to it requiring a trip to get parts for the circuit board, there was a trip charge attached to the job. At the time the customer paid there was no complaint about the charge."

"Please be advised that the new estimate that was sent was not for the main pump, but the booster/cleaner pump. We provide a free estimate/evaluation of the pool & equipment before we begin monthly service. Upon initial inspection of this pool on 09.29.15, the main pool pump was not working, as well as, the salt system. The CYA level was over 100. Since the main pool pump was not working, we were unable to determine if all other equipment was working properly, ie heater, lights, filter, etc. With the main pool pump, we provided Homeowner the option of replacing the motor or the entire pump. With motor replacement on the main pump, we did advise that the motor is only one component of the pool pump and that other components of the pump may need to be replaced now or in the future. In the case of this pump and the visible warping due to overheating, etc., we strongly encouraged a new pool pump. However, we will always defer to the Homeowner wishes and in this case she elected for motor replacement with the knowledge that there may be issues in the future and that the 1 year warranty was for motor only. Over the course of several months, the pump stopped working a 2nd time and we explained that the best course of action would be to replace the entire pump at this time. Homeowner elected for us to troubleshoot the main pool pump again. We replaced the motor under warranty for a 2nd time, as well as, other components of the main pump. The main pump is currently working. Please keep in mind, that my electrician has spent many hours and multiple visits that were not billed to the Homeowner to ensure that all her equipment was working to her satisfaction. Last week, the booster/cleaner pump was not working. My electrician inspected and recommended either not using the cleaner or replacing the booster pump. He disconnected the power to the booster pump to allow for the main pool pump to run without tripping breaker. This is an example of time spent at the pool troubleshooting that was not billed to the Homeowner. We sent a formal estimate for cost & installation of a new booster pump IF Homeowner elected for replacement. Once again, we will defer to the Homeowners direction on whether or not to replace the booster/cleaner pump or to keep it disconnected. In this case, she elected to stop service. We appreciated the opportunity to service the pool for the last 6 months."
