I contacted Texas leak detections on 2/24 about having a heater replaced.  They responded very quickly.  Miguel came out on Friday and did the replacement.  Miguel was very kind and offered assistance.  I called the company again about a week after because there were a couple of other things on the pool that I need repaired- the pipe that the heater was connected to starting rusting,and the line has air in it, and the pool needs to be drained-, and I had noticed that Miguel did not leave a receipt. (I do have my check as a receipt and David Baker- the owner- stated that it was a 2 year warranty so I've documented that in the event that I have issues.)   I called many times and eventually did speak with David.  He said that he would be out on 3/13/15 to fix the issues.  No one showed and no contact was made with me to apologize or reschedule.  I contacted David again.  I figured I'd give him the benefit that something came up and try it again.  I contacted him and after several attempts he answered.  The new date for the repairs was 3/31/15.  He said he would be here in the afternoon.  No one showed up again. No calls, no response.  I left a couple of voicemails and texts stating that no one showed up, but that I'd still like to receive a receipt for the heater that was repaired.  As of today April 3, 2015, I have still had no response. It's very disappointing that a company does not respond to calls made especially after they committed to repairing something.  If the company has too much work and can't accept new customers they should be honest from the beginning so that the customer can look elsewhere.

David provided a leak test and estimate to repair a leak in our pool. He responded promptly and provided repairs plus install of a pool cleaner. After repairs, David signed a copy of his invoice with "5 year warranty". Subsequently, the pool continued to lose water. It became very difficult to reach David. To date, he will not respond to phone calls, e-mails or text messages. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!

Miguel arrived on the same day I placed the call to the owner David. I was thrilled when he had the exact replacement in his truck for the light bulb and gasket!  He drained the spa water into the pool, replaced the old fixture with the new, then refilled the spa with water.  Miguel waited to make sure the bulb worked under water before leaving. The heat igniter was installed in the gas heater the next day less than 24 hours from  contacting David! Miguel turned on the heater and waited to make sure the water temperature was increasing before he left. Miguel is very professional, thorough, pleasant, and punctual. His English is excellent. I would highly recommend Miguel.

This provider did all that he promised. On time and on budget. Would use him again.

Job went very quickly and smoothly. They found the source of air infiltration into the system, removed the defective section and replaced the valve and piping.

It has been well nigh impossible to get in touch with the owner, even when I send e-mails, call, write notes for the service man, etc.  I have been trying to cancel service and collect my gate keys for three weeks and the service man still hasn't gotten the message, although I placed notes on the pool gate which he ignored. The accounting department had credit card information deleted from the computer and waited 6 months to contact me about the billing. There were weeks when I was billed for service that wasn't provided, but there was never an adjustment on the billing statements.  I could go on, but it sounds as if I am a whiner and I'm not. 

Contacted David via voice mail and text on a Friday morning.  Explained that I was losing 1.5 inches of water a day in my pool-Determined after using bucket test.  He contacted me about 30 minutes later and offered to come by the house to run a pressure test that would allow them to determine the cause of the lead. The fee for the test would go against any work that was needed.   A couple of hours later, I received a call letting me know they found the problem and quoted me the amount to fix the issue.  I gave them the go ahead and he let me know that they should have the job complete by the end of the following day (Saturday).  He and his assistant, Miguel, broke the concrete deck up, located and replaced a broken return pipe, and on Saturday morning came by to finish the job.  I cannot even tell where the concrete was broken up.

I had the opportunity to speak both with David and Miguel and found them both to be very knowledgeable and professional.  I will definitely use them again.  Will be using them to replaster my pool as well.

Very well

This is the best pool repair team that I have ever met although there are other excellent selections on Angies List. I am a home expert on the pool and equipment and this team knows their stuff...taught me some tricks. David is very busy and sometimes hard to contact...be patient it's worth it. We will be automating to the Pentair Intelli touch system with high efficiency pump on next go around with David.

Very well. Did a great job at getting pool very immaculate.

The work performed was excellent. Pricing was average to high, in my opinion. He was very fastened had everything replaced within two hours. However, it is difficult to get these folks to return phone calls. Therefore, along with the upper end pricing, my rating is a C.

All of my communications were promptly answered.
The job was done in a very professional manner.
They bring everything to the job including many specialized tools for pool work. 
They are very experienced in all facets of the pool piping and equipment.
The workers were always attentive to not  make a mess.
Nothing was done without explaining to me what the outcome would look like or to give me options.
The first contract was to install a new pump and piping.
It was so neatly done that I requested another contract to do all of the other work performed.
They made many suggeations but none that required a change in the agreed price.
This was a big job requiring a lot of digging.
They put down ground covers in their access route and did not track mud on the surfaces around the pool.
We were very happy with the job, and it looks very nice.
I can recommend this company with no reservations.
I will use them again for any work done on the pool.

David was great! My phone calls weren't returned immediately, but it wasn't horrible. With a little patience, we arranged a day to meet. Not only was David on time, he was early. They were very nice, showed me where the leak was and how to keep it from happening again. I am very pleased with the work and appreciate his knowledge and promptness. They cleaned up their mess and my pool was back in business!

We suspected a leak in our pool after performing the bucket
test. We were also loosing water at an alarming rate (Almost one inch per day).
I e-mailed David with all the details over the weekend, and he gave me a call
in two days (Tuesday) saying he could make it the following day at 9am. He
arrived with his crew at 9 sharp.

Right away, I could tell why David is the best in this
industry. He is very thorough, and knowledgeable. He also enjoys sharing his
knowledge & experience with people.

He started setting up for the leak test by plugging all the
suction and return lines, but just by looking at the skimmers he was able to identify
the problem. Yep, he is that good. He later confirmed the leak around the
skimmer opening using a special dye, and sealed it with some pool putty, at no
extra charge.

He then proceeded to pressure test all the lines at 25psi, there was a minor leak after
the filter line. Due to his meticulous nature, he did not want to leave it like
that, even though I offered to repair it myself later. So he cut the PVC pipe
between the filter and the salt cell to isolate the leak and later he redid the
plumbing again at no extra charge. Pressure test was good this time.

 He also left me with two parting gifts: a  skimmer basket (mine was broken) and a
new tube of pool putty to reseal the skimmer area in the future in case I needed
to.

David was also very helpful in taking the time to give
advice on my other pool lighting and decking issues. I will definitely be
calling him and his crew back to redo the pool light electrical wiring and
install a light switch.

Exceeds expectation all around. I am very happy I contacted

We've never required this service before, so I was calling to get quotes for leak detection.  Dave answered the phone, gave me a flat rate for detection (cheaper than any other), and gave me counsel on what to look for if I didn't choose him.  I called and left a message the next day that we wanted him to provide the service.  He called me @ 10 am on Saturday and said he was on the way.  Arrived @ 11.  After locating the leak (and mislocating, once) Dave gave me a price ($650) to fix the leak and we agreed.  Once he and his partner begin excavating the leak site, it was clear that Dave had underestimated the effort (had to chip away a lot of concrete to make room for the repair).  I checked on him frequently to see the progress.  Every time I checked, he explained what he had discovered and how he was proceeding.  Ultimately, the fix required not only repairing the leaking elbow, but replacing more of the plumbing that he removed to give him adequate clearance to make a quality repair.  He also replaced the concrete he had chipped away to maintain the structure.  The site was cleaned up and returned to a condition that would make it hard to determine that he had been there.  During the process, my wife and I had discussed that this was much more effort than we thought Dave had estimated at the outset and were expecting him to tell us that the cost had gone up.  At the end of the job, when everything was complete, Dave said that the job was much bigger than he originally expected.  However, he said, "I told you $650, and I don't expect you to pay a penny more, because that is the way I do business."  We paid more because we thought it was right and Dave was appreciative, but I know he was not going to ask for more.  In our opinion, this is the way people should treat each other and this was a refreshing experience.  If you have trouble getting in contact with Dave, once he is on your site, you will know why.  He is focused and professional about doing a quality job.  I know that someone did not get a service call on this Saturday because our job took longer than expected.  I hope you have patience to wait for Dave.  You will be glad that you did.  We will be calling Dave with all of our pool needs in the future.  Outstanding experience! 

Everything turned out great. Other people I had provide estimates told me they would probably need to break up my deck, etc  but David worked around it and did straight line through my grass.  David is a perfectionist that does everything more than right. Waynette, his wife works the office and was also very helpful and friendly. David upgraded my backwash valve and plumbing.  He was very responsive in coming out for an estimate and in doing the job. I will be having him install a salt system and ozonator for me in the near future. I would not hesitate to recommend him and just did for a neighbor who has a leak in her irrigation system.   Not sure if he does those or not but told her to call him.

He did not mind taking the time to explain the cause of the problem and how to fix it if it occured again.
Shared his experience on doing some routine maintenance that would help avoid the problem in the future.
