"Scott and Lance of Gulf Shores Maintenance do great work. We've hired them multiple times for both interior and exterior work. The work is always done well, with no return work required to complete or correct a job. That alone is great. And they are good at solving problems. They were replacing facia and soffits for us, and we asked them to build a barrier in our connected breezeway to keep critters out. Lance came up with a great setup, that is holding well and keeping unwanted guests out. Finally their prices are great. Their estimates are accurate to the job requested, and the final price, at or sometimes lower than the estimate. At this point they have done so much work for us, we do not bother with other bids. The company provided a quick and fair quotation using photos and measurements that I provided of the deck along with a description of the services I was requiring.  Upon my acceptance of the quote, the work was scheduled that week.

When the technician arrived, he assessed that due to the previous staining job being performed on wet pressure treated wood that we would need to use a different type of stain product than was originally quoted.  The difference in price was ~$50 and we mutually agreed to the change in scope.

The technician performed the cleaning on the first day.  The cleaning consisted of a blower to remove any large debris and a pressure wash with a cleaning solution.

The staining occurred on day two and was applied with a gas-powered sprayer.  We had chosen a Sherman Williams Solid Color Traditional Russet Superdeck Stain.  As Good As New offered a 3 year warranty for this product.

Upon completion, the technician and I walked the job and looked for missed spots.  We found none.  He then gave detailed instructions on how to care for the new stain and told me to call if we had any issues during the warranty period.

Overall a very positive experience with As Good As New.
