"I recently had the pleasure of working with this TGR for my kitchen remodeling project, and I couldn't be more impressed with the results. From start to finish, they demonstrated exceptional professionalism, expertise, and attention to detail. The quality of their work is top-notch, and their communication skills made the entire process smooth and stress-free. What truly sets them apart, though, is their pricing - I've shopped around and compared quotes from several other contractors, and their prices are incredibly competitive without sacrificing any quality. I highly recommend them to anyone looking for a reliable, skilled, and cost-effective solution for their remodeling needs. Their dedication to customer satisfaction is truly commendable, and I'm confident you'll be thrilled with their work."

"I recently completed a six-month project with NRG Remodeling, and I couldn't be more impressed! The renovation of my 3-bedroom, 2-bathroom home, and kitchen went smoothly from start to finish. The communication was top-notch, and the team worked quickly and efficiently, all while maintaining very fair pricing. The quality of the workmanship was outstanding, and the entire experience was stress-free—much smoother than I anticipated. It's rare to find such a professional and personable team, and I’m already planning my next project with them. I would absolutely recommend them for any home renovation and will definitely turn to them for future work!"

"I used Floor It Today after seeing what fantastic work they did on a friend's extensive remodeling. I had my master-bath, walk-in shower re-tiled, roman bath tub replaced, granite counter tops put in master-bath and 2 bathrooms, along with all hardware fixtures. To replace shower trim in 2 extra bathrooms, the walls had to be cut opened, as I was not replacing tiles in those bathrooms. To look at the walls now, one cannot even tell there was a hole. Something where the light boxes were removed in the master-bath and kitchen. Would never know there were boxes there. Bassam was the Best! He helped me in picking out tiles and matching colors. He has quite the eye for decor. Bassam walked me through every detail before and doing the redo. He was very professional, patient with all my many questions and always addressed my concerns. His workers were great too and always showed up when they said they would. They did great work!! I will definitely use Floor It Today for any future remodeling."

Ceramic Tile questions, answered by experts

Professionals can enhance bathroom aesthetics by recommending and implementing design elements such as modern fixtures, high-quality tiles, and efficient layouts. They ensure cohesive style, compliment functionality, and an enhanced visual appeal in the space.

Many homeowners have successfully retiled a bathroom themselves. It can be a challenging but rewarding process, but it’s best for someone who already has at least intermediate DIY skills.

The best trowel for penny tile is a 3/16-inch-by-5/32-inch V-notch trowel. Because of the small size of the penny tile, you want a trowel with small notches that can lay a thin layer of mortar on the surface you’re tiling. If the notches are too wide, you risk applying too thick of a layer of mortar, and it can squeeze out between the penny tiles.

Yes, you can tile over existing shower tiles, but it's better to remove the old tiles first for the best results. Tiling over existing tiles requires a clean, level surface and proper adhesion. If the old tiles are in good condition, you can roughen the surface to improve adhesion. However, removing the old tiles ensures a smoother, longer-lasting finish and prevents potential issues down the line.

Grout and caulk are commonly used together, especially in bathrooms. Grout goes between the tiles and keeps them sturdy and in place on the walls or floor. Caulk goes in corners or where two different materials meet (like where the bathtub meets the tile) to create a waterproof seal. However, they are not interchangeable—you shouldn't use caulk to adhere tile and shouldn’t use mortar if you need a waterproof seal.
