"This is a 1 man show, with a few contractors apparently but I only saw Ramy (?). We had an upstairs with hot rooms and my AC guy said we needed insulation, so I called this guy based on the reviews. He took a look and basically said the cheapest way to go was roof vents so we wouldn't have to demolish the ceilings (no attic, so the drywall would basically get all chopped up). I was a bit skeptical since this guy mentions Jesus every chance he can, but said why not as $800 seemed fair enough for 5 vents based on labor, since he did have to chop holes in my roof and seal up the vents later. He did all of it in around 3 hours the same week (plus maybe an hour later to put on more roof tar), always called ahead, and was on time. He didn't have a temperature probe to measure the work, but since he finished, the rooms are a lot cooler and my wife is happy. I found my temperature gun and it's definitely cooler. So given the AC doesn't work as hard and our upstairs stays cool, I'd say he knows what he's doing. I just ignored his constant references to Jesus and blessings and such as I don't hire contractors to spread their beliefs. The guy sounds like a used car salesman at times, but he does seem to know what he's doing, and he does follow up afterwards. So as far as contractors go that's pretty rare."

A leaking water line had soaked the ceiling above the bathtub to the point where the ceiling collapsed. He thoroughly explored the area involved, noting where the water had damaged framing and sheetrock, the limits of wet insulation, and, equally as important, areas where the water did not penetrate. Based upon his assessment, he advised me that a very limited area was in need of repair and that the most cost effective approach would be a handyman. Then he helped me remove the wet insulation.
