"Dear [Member Name Removed], We are truly sorry you experienced this with our company. The gentleman that returned your call was calling you again 5 hours later. Unfortunately, when you called on a Friday, 5th of May, our estimator was already booked Monday and the next available would have been Tuesday. We cannot stress enough how quickly we call everyone back to all of our representatives. We don't use contractors, everyone is an actual employee and we are sure sorry that you did not receive the service we are most known for: promptness, honest answers and our ability to educate the consumer to give you the opportunity to make a sound decision. Whether the estimator measures or the installer measures, we are all trained the exact same way. The attic stairs are not excluded because we will always install a cotton batting insulation behind the steps-and this takes more time than blowing it. We can't blow on top of the attic stairs, this is our way of ensuring you still have insulation on your steps. When there are "dead" spaces that cannot be accessed, we will always deduct those, including any roofline vaulted ceilings. We are not sure why that was not discussed, but we would have encouraged seeing your house to do a physical estimate and address all concerns at that time. We will gladly visit your home to inspect the attic and note all areas that don't get insulated. All companies will also have a minimum job price. Even if you are doing 1000sf and deduct 200sf, you still get an the recommended amount of R38, but not at the price of 1000 square feet. We will never charged for something we don't do. Please allow us to send a different estimator to talk to you and physically inspect your home. An in-home estimate will always tell the story. Again, we are as upset for this "F" rating when we have never given you a physical estimate. We have two estimators we can send immediately, one with 20+ years of experience and the other with 17. So truly sorry that this ever happened. Would this be acceptable to you? Thank you for your time."
