Payless Insulation

Gustavo came out and provided genuine and thoughtful advice and recommendations where as other contractors I was speaking with were offering solutions that wouldn’t necessarily help with my situation. From the site visit, the quote, and completion of work.. it took just a few days. Really impressed with the quickness and effectiveness.

I have four companies come out and gave me estimates one Company did it by looking at my house on Google. Ken came out and was here for about three hours measuring outside and inside. He gave me four different quotes, depending on the thickness of the insulation. Decided on using Payless because of just how professional Ken was. And he instructed me to pay him when I was satisfied with the job. I’ve had my HVAC guy go up in the attic to work on the systems and he came down and said who the h*** blew that insulation and I’ve never seen such a professional job and all my life and I’ve been doing HVAC work for 30 years. Highly recommend these guys I’ve used them I believe it was in 2011. I just bought the house and I wanted insulation blown in. They did such a fantastic job highly impressed by these guys.

The quality was very good. They were thorough and they explain everything before they started. I was very pleased with the job when it was done. The service was good and the price was good.

Super impressed by Payless Insulation! I called around to several Houston companies for attic insulation. Some of those companies wanted to up-sell me on the radiant barrier, etc. I did my research and found that the radiant barrier was not the best solution. I have an 1963 built house so it needed alot of help to keep the house cool in the summer and warm in the winter and not be so drafty. I choose Payless Insulation for their quick customer service, willingness to explain the details, friendliness, professionalism, and most importantly the installation team was polite, clean (they wore clean boots in as to not track in dirt, mud from their shoes), and got the job done in the time allotted. Afterwards (in my next electric bill) my energy savings was a good 40% from the previous month. My house didn't feel drafty anymore!!

Went well - they were on time early in the morning - put paper on my floors and were very careful not to damage or dirty any of my interior furnishings. The attic was completely clean and I had my electrical work and then they sprayed in the new insulation and also into my walls – very happy with the service and the new comfort level I have inside my home. The salesman Gabriel was involved along the way from start to end and was a significant factor in our initial decision. Very pleased. Randy Parr

went well. Did not have the needed insulation tent with them (but was not part of the original planned work). Did not offer to come back and install the proper tent (deducted one star for this, otherwise excellent all around)

The result is that the house is quieter and warmer. However, they neglected to tell us prior to starting the job that any crack or hole in the wallboard would result in the insulation and its dust being blown into the house. We noticed the house filling with dust and insultation and found it coming in through a space between the door jamb and the wallboard. Then it started coming in around the electrical outlets. We ran around taping everything but missed a hole that a previous owner had cut into a wall. By the time we discovered this, there was dust swirling everywhere and 6 foot long by 2 foot deep pile of the insulation stuffing on the living room carpet. I had to rent a carpet cleaner and run it over the carpet twice. I had to wash down the walls, vacuum every surface and mop all the floors. It took me 5 full days of cleaning to clear out the mess.

Extremely professional from estimate to schedule to setup to execution through clean-up. I am VERY pleased with the results, and the price was reasonable and in line with other contractors for the work performed. Most other bidders skipped some important details and needs. Payless provided a detailed bid that allowed me to delete any services that I did not want. The final invoice reflected the exact services that were performed - slightly less than the original bid.

Everything went perfect. From sales to installation, my experience went smoothly. The installers arrived early in the morning to beat the summer heat. The coordinating installer explained everything that was planned and anything he need from me. Once the crew was set up, they completed the install in about 4 hours. The crew cleaned up excess insulation as best they could, which is difficult due to how dusty cellulose can be. I got to inspect the work that was performed, which was impressive. I received a certificate of work which shows the amount of insulation installed and current R-value before the installers left my home. I have seen an immediate change in the comfort of my home. My AC does not run all day long and my home is able to maintain a comfortable temperature throughout the day. Working with Payless was a easy experience and would recommend their services.

The estimator showed up on agreed upon time and did a great job determining what was needed and explained the process to me. The only thing I can say about the installers is that they were outstanding! Showed up on time and got to work immediately...did take a little longer that originally thought because they had to take a couple of cool down breaks (attic was very very hot that day)

It went great!! Our house had no insulation, except for the unfinished attic which has loose insulation. They were timely & would have finished in a day, except for the weather. They left when it looked like rain & it was planned that they would come back another day.

The job went very well. The team showed up on time. Took great care to keep the area clean and protected from overspray. Completed the task contracted for and left the area very clean. I am pleased, will use again and will recommend their services to my friends and neighbors.

I have a small bungalow house in the greater Heights area that has been a nightmare to find quality reasonable contractors. Payless was very professional and offered the best value of any quotes received. They cleaned up after the job was done which is very important. I expect to hire them for any insulation work needed in the future if they're capable. I recommended them to my neighbor and they also used them.

Great. Payless is fantastic. Casey inspects the home and writes the needed work estimate. She is fantastic. Smart, experienced, knowledgeable, friendly, accurate, and experienced. What more can I say/ Anyone at the main office who answers the phone is also exemplary. I have used them several times in the past and will always go with Payless Insulation..

Great arrived on time and very professional

Excellent. The first visit, they identified a leak and let us know. Though we had to stop and wait for the leak to be fixed, they came back and did the job within 2 hours. They were prompt and also always have someone available to take calls.

It went great! Couldn't ask for a better experience. Bret, the one that wrote the proposal, the installers, and the front office were all great to work with.
