Recently relocated to Grayson County. We've been serving Texas and other states for 13 years in building ground up commercial buildings, additions, and renovations. We specialize in structural steel fabrication and erection, custom steel fabrication, gates and entryways. We were designing and building Barndominiums before people knew what they were. We do the job right or not at all. We guarantee our work, and we often takeover failing or abandoned projects and get the project completed. We've built and have tore down and rebuilt many very large churches. We've done a lot of historical renovations and dealt woth the historical regulations, etc. We've done a lot of work at The Grandscape in The Colony Tx. We worked on The Dallas Morning News, The Statler Hotel as well as many other hotels, high end retail and entertainment districts. \n We have worked and a General contractor holding responsibility for a project from conception to planning and development, through completion.

"Alex was great to work with. He was very methodical and really was concerned about doing the work correctly and not just installing tile. He was also very clean and didn’t leave a mess while working. He installed about 550 sq ft of wood look tile on the patio and 20 sq ft of decorative tile in the powder. Would highly recommend for a tile project."

"Carpet was 8 x 10. Simply Rug Cleaning pick-up rug and took to their facility. Carpet was returned in 14 days. The carpet had been under a plant and was wet for several months. They did a very good job getting the mold out and sanitizing the carpet. The water stain is still slightly visible but much better. I was happy with their service and would use again."

"Ken did a great job. He was on time and always called before coming over. He was very polite and pleasant. I also asked a few questions about a rug pad. He took time to make a research on that and gave me a lot of information on it the next time he came in: price range, he suggested a store where I could get one and provided the phone number. I had a great experience."

"The floors are beautiful. When picking out the flooring the owners patiently answered all many questions. Allowed me to take samples home. Once I decided on the flooring they came out and measured and provided me the cost. Workman were timely. Opened a box and verified that it was the right flooring. Walked through the house with me and had me verify how the floor was to be layed. I was told it would take approximately 4 to 5 days. They were done by the 4th day. Put the large pieces of furniture back and cleaned up. Loved the work, flooring and the people.

"Great! Roma is the place to go for high quality tile. As an artist, I wanted something a little different. I checked out all the tile companies in the area and Roma by far had the most interesting. The people there are cordial and helpful. Couldn't be better."

Ceramic Tile questions, answered by experts

The reasons not to install flooring underneath a bathtub outweigh the benefits. A properly installed bathtub will keep water from reaching the unprotected subfloor underneath. Installing a tub on top of finished flooring can lead to damage and scratches to the new floor. Also, a small leak from a tub drain may be more difficult to notice if finished flooring impedes water drips.

You can, in theory, tile your fireplace hearth with most tiles. However just because you can, doesn’t mean you should. For example, it’s much better to use unglazed tiles because glazed tiles are more resistant to cracking under extreme heat. Porcelain is more heat-resistant than ceramic, but you can still design the hearth as you like by putting the most heat-resistant tiles directly under the fire and, if it matches your style, add more decorative tiles further from the center of the fire.

Installing kitchen countertop tiles on a mold and moisture-resistant cement backer board is one of the best options. When fitted correctly on top of a plywood base, it’s stable and long-lasting. Old-fashioned cement board is economical, cuts neatly and easily with a circular or jigsaw, and screws into plywood without any difficulty.

The rule tells you how to cut tile to install it in a corner. The 3/4/5 rule recommends that you should have 3 feet across on one straight line, four feet on the other perpendicular line, and 5 feet of length from the end of one of the lines to the other. You’re making a right triangle with the tile, and the hypotenuse (the line across from where the 3-foot lie and 4-foot line meet) should be 5 feet long.

It’s not a good idea to lay tile and grout on the same day. The adhesive or thin-set that sticks the tiles to the surface needs plenty of time to dry before you can grout. Wait for 24 to 48 hours, depending on moisture levels in the space. The tiles can become misaligned and more prone to damage if you don’t wait.
