"Yes, didn’t have photos of full repair, but this is it! He and his crew has to remove all floor decking, joust beams and redo them, along with sub floor. Painted and did the plumbing, repaired roof around fireplace as well!"

"The shower re-tile project was done perfectly and to my specifications. I am very happy with the quality of work. Mr. Medina and his crew are knowledgeable and hard working. Everyone was so professional and helpful from the first time I called them, all the way through completion. The project turn around was very quick. I highly recommend Medina"s Construction."

"Once I sent her all the measurements, it took her a little while to get the options back to me.  Overall, they're good designs.  However, they're very simplistic and give general ideas for space planning.  I was hoping to have a better idea for sizes of furniture for the space and some variations on staging.
Jill was very responsive when I did have a question.  I'm not sure how helpful it is to have a virtual design done.  If we lived in similar cities, I'd probably use her again for help with additional designs.

"We had a custom shower built and a tile bathtub surround, tile kitchen backsplash, and tile flooring installed. Enrique was responsive, easy to work with, communicated with us consistently throughout our projects, and he and Guadalupe both did quality work. I would recommend and use them again."

Ceramic Tile questions, answered by experts

The reasons not to install flooring underneath a bathtub outweigh the benefits. A properly installed bathtub will keep water from reaching the unprotected subfloor underneath. Installing a tub on top of finished flooring can lead to damage and scratches to the new floor. Also, a small leak from a tub drain may be more difficult to notice if finished flooring impedes water drips.

DIY is possible for small projects. Professional services ensure precision and long-lasting results.

Costs range from $5 to $15 per square foot for installation and $150 to $600 for repairs, depending on the material and complexity.

The lifespan of bathroom tile can be 50 years or more, depending on proper installation and regular maintenance. A well-done tile job, whether it's a new installation or a retiling project, can last for many decades. To lengthen the life of your tile, it's best to have it installed by a professional and to perform regular maintenance. This includes routine cleaning, resealing, and regrouting as needed. With proper care, you can expect your tile to last 10 years or more before needing major repairs or retiling, especially in high-traffic areas where tiles can wear out more quickly.

Installing kitchen countertop tiles on a mold and moisture-resistant cement backer board is one of the best options. When fitted correctly on top of a plywood base, it’s stable and long-lasting. Old-fashioned cement board is economical, cuts neatly and easily with a circular or jigsaw, and screws into plywood without any difficulty.
